JTH's Account Talk

JTH:

Question-
My gut is screaming at me to bail out today (before noon tomorrow).

I've been in "I" all month, and have only made two moves this year-

but something is telling me we're about to have a downdraft.

Do you concur?

Tough call, but like you sometimes it's best to follow your instincts. For now I think we are at the top of a smaller & lower trading range, until those key levels are broken, it's a traders game. Seasonally speaking, I project the 1st half of April is the time to shake out the buyers before we can resume the dominant up trend. The recent surge in large caps, could be a warning that investors are hedging into less riskier assets, but it's all speculation at this point. Looking at the March AT, you're doing well, some of my best plays have been made from the sidelines. I'm working a PnF blog, it will be posted shortly, maybe this will help your decision.

if you are not willing to lose the chips, don't put them on the table. after that, everything is fair game. i need a seller for my next buy. to the victor goes the spoils. don't forget that part.

Strong opening on the 1st 15-min candlestick, recapturing over 50% of the previous wave

I would like to see that tall green candle near 4:00 P.M. EST too! Thank you for all of your charts and contributions here. I check your thread regularly as a subscriber.

Thanks Frank, that's the million dollar question, what will the close look like?

Here's your Pre-IFT deadline update

Across the markets, I'm seeing some hints of a Middle Finger formation, but I'm not sure it will hold

This rollercoaster ride reminds me more of the old shell game than of cards. The market is up, no down, no flat. Which shell is the pea under.

I posted my screwball view of patterns I track for use tomorrow on Market Outlook.

Did you cash out of TZA at COB yesterday? I had a mixed bag with TZA this year. Most days it was like kissing my sister (Not Game of Thrones kissing either).

8 April, TMF @ 95.28 (second position)

Both TMF positions combined at @ 96.58

My stop is set at 9.75 and today's low was 9.79 I'm not a fan of going short, so it has a tight leash.
