Wify is doing well, sore as heck and getting pampered by me. Even my selfish bastard-of-a-cat has stepped up his sentry duties by not leaving her side. Cats are smart like that, they always know when you're not feeling well.

Head & Shoulder's which meets the technical specifications (although the right should is a bit too high) with the neckline riding along a 6-month trendline. It's too easy, too good to be true, if it were to execute, I would speculate 2000 is a more accurate price objective.

Would be nice to get back above the neckline...

Yes it would be nice but I'm not holding my breath. Made a premature buyin on Friday...mistake..had set my Stochastic to setting of 5,5.... Was playing with settings earlier in day when I made last minute decision I didn't notice it. That setting had us under 20... Dang! The default settings show about 43 ... Probably going further down. Gotta decide tomorrow if I should exit to safety or ride it out. Might have a positive day but just don't know! Ugghhhh...

They can't all be winners, the bad news it that's twice I've taken a loss on NUGT, the good news is that's twice I was right to exit before taking further losses.

On the previous NUGT position I took both an entry & exit at 11.60 and I'm glad I didn't ride it down into the 9s.

In case anyone is interested, I was looking for a breakout at the yellow arrow, where prices were hugging the lower yellow channel and converging with the descending red channel. I was also looking for a ramp-up in volume, but it dried up. By now, you've probably noticed the inverted cup & handle is in the process of executing, I won't be back in NUGT for awhile, there are better opportunities out there.

JTH, how are you loading your charts from stockcharts? Been trying to figure it out with out any luck.

Those NUGT plays are hard since its against the intermediate and long term trend. I'm currently in DUST @ 17.04 and looking to sell 1/2 at 20 and the other half at 22.5 ( unless it blows through that resistance) I'll reevaluate NUGT when I sell.

1. Save the chart on your desktop, no bigger than 850x668, and 100KB (.PNG looks best)

2. Click the insert image icon


3. You may have to select the From Computer tab, from the pop up window, click browse, than select the picture, then click upload files(s) and it will insert the picture into your thread.

Metals and miners are having a tough time swimming upstream against the strength of the dollar. Looks like UUP is beginning another up-wave, which spells trouble for commodities. You're wise to get out before your little losses become big losses.
