Jkenjohnson's Account Talk

Dude! That was quick!

I know. I did not actually change my allocation (still 100% G). I just can't trust an unproven system in such an unpredictable environment (European Crap). I got blasted last year because of the budget debacle and European debt. If that isn't a good enough reason for not following my own system - then, let's say I have multiple personality disorder and my cautious personality told me to wait.

Well, I let caution get the better of me and will miss the big gains that I expect to see today. After Apple's earning report, I think the market will take off like a wildfire. Now I have to figure out if I am going to chase the upcoming rally.

That's a good question, and it remains to be seen how long the rally will last. Hours? Days?? Weeks???

IMHO, you should trust your system. It's done extremely well. If you need to tweak it, so be it, but don't abandon it.

I have not abandoned it. I should have followed it yesterday. I am missing some nice gains right now. Everytime I don't follow it, I screw myself.

The gains don't look too big unless you had a lot of AAPL and with how that fell for a couple days today is really just recouping the losses (and maybe a little extra). With how things have been going up and down daily I don't know if you are really missing out on much. Tomorrow could take away all of today's gains and then you would be upset about that too lol.

I know. Who knows where we go from here?
