It's easy to be positive about the market when one has their sensibilities. First, Brich is the legend to follow. Second, I've regained my health, no mean feat after so many years of trusting doctors untrained in fungus related problems. I can see things about this market now that were not seen by me earlier, for the past decade. Nice turn of events. Me getting healthy just at the time the markets are hitting new highs. Still to go higher. Third, the new Pope looks sharp and can do things for "emerging" markets (South America, Southeast Asia, Latin America, Africa).

Ya know, I've been wondering the same thing. Birch would never do that, integrity I believe. Now as for that cat...

It's all good. Even bonds are up, which in a way is a base for the markets to climb. More money to come in later. This market is all about having a healthy belief. You've got to be strong to believe that were going to 1600. Greenspan said a month ago, "Forget the economy, focus on the markets". The man pops out of retirement to give some words of wisdom, then is gone, like Yoda. Birch said it and I've said it; This summer, there will be no consolidations. It is all about "the climb" up to 1700, 1800. We are going where no man has gone before. SPX 1800 in 2014. Tomorrow, 1565, if it doesn't happen today. Keep up the good fight. Stay good everyone.
 
Chiming in. Boys! and girls! What we have here is a bee-line to SPX 1565 manyana. Tomorrow, when people awake, it'll be like they are pitching for the seventh game of the world series. There will be no slumber during the 7am hours. It'll be, "Let's check the stocks (futures) now!". Friday will bring great peace and harmony to this once, forelorn trader, now investor. The market will bring to me SPX 1565, no, more like 1570. Then I can say to all the brethren, and the dear ladies of yonder hills, it is so, what I've spoken. Believe me when I say, SPX 1600 is just at summer's behest. Xmas will bring(eth) 1700 with sometime in 2014, 1800. Consolidation?, pullback?, in these times of reaching and clutching for the stars? Never! No, not possible when the finish line is right there, thus beginning the forefront of a new frontier. Who shall go with me? You, onetime naysayer? Convert your ways to that of a true believer. Know what it is like to walk and talk like one emancipated from the thoughts which bound you to the G fund.
 
It all sounds good to me. I've been bullish since 1982. Tomorrow would be a pleasure to see some bears choke as we blast up to the stratosphere. Eventually we'll get a throw over - possibly in the next few trading days to initiate a small consolidation and then all is satisfied. A mega trend secular bull maket is a magnificent thing to watch as the train pulls out of the station leaving many in awe and afraid to play. That's just the way it should be.

Dang JJ I'm at a loss for words but inspired. The market has been inching up for the last 15 days, when it does turn over it won't be inching down. airplane5.gif

I have observed the stars, examined the entrails of an owl and looked out my window and saw The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypics riding to a bar b que.

Bought some BAC. So, yes I'm going into stocks. I'm new at this part of the game. I want to put my money where my mouth is. I feel like this stock market is going to go through the roof. It just teasing us, doing sideways action, a little, "Hey sailor, want a little action?" Well, actually I've be there and lost. So now the lure is, buddy, you've earned it. You've been watching from the outside. I like making money like everyone else here on this board, in my pajamas. I've said I was going to make 25% this year and I'm going to do it. I'm healthy, I've got no distractions, like work, to keep me from looking for the golden star. Doing some buying and some holding, right here, right now. Boom.
 
Optimism is refreshing. If you're going to make 25% I will just copy you :).

Truth is, nobody is wrong about the future until it happens, so if you and Birch end up being correct with your bullish outlook I want to be part of that party, too.
 
A Dow of 29,774 in the next four years would fill a lot of wheelbarrows with green dollars - I'm long for the rest of the ride. I like playing in uncharted territory.
