Yep, my diabetic mother use to say the same thing.............

My grandmother hardly ever used sugar and use to always put those 100% saccharine tablets in her tea everyday. She lived to be 95 with no health issues what so ever except Alzheimer's when she hit 83. I don't see those tablets around anymore, but I think Sweet And Low has a pretty good percentage of saccharine in it. It's the other stuff I can do with out.

Still make my no bake cookies with 100% pure cane sugar. I at least try to avoid the processed stuff.............;)

Oh BTW, I'd rather use granulated sugar than high fructose corn syrup also. That stuff seems to be in everything these days though............just like soybean oil. Just looking at the labels of everything amazes me sometimes.....

Regular sugar is processed...bleached....better to find and buy the raw sugar like you see at Starbucks. It's a blond/brown color. I've heard that regular sugar is more bad for your teeth.

Found this sweet bike at an antique shop this weekend. I must of put 50000 miles on the one I had as a kid. LOVED THAT BIKE!

They wanted $55. I was thinking I could buy it as an investment. It's a classic! And gets good gas mileage!! ;)

Looks like the back tire is smaller than the front.

I had a Sting Ray 5 speed with a nut buster shifter. :cheesy:

i had 1 like that as a kid too. with the bananna seat and high handlebars. you don't need the vroom motor, all you need is about 4 playing cards and some clothes pins. that will get that bike clackin! boyyyy those were the good ole days.

They weren't too great at jumps like todays BMX bikes, but you could "cruise" forever........:D
