With the S&P 500 down 16 I would expect AGG to be up higher. It was higher yesterday then it is today, and yesterdays S&P was flat. Were is everyone putting their money? Buying gold I suppose.

I wonder if investors are just taking their money out for the weekend, but not putting it anywhere else because they plan to buy back in Monday. Who knows ....

I'm a young pup and up for the additional risk. I never go G Fund.

But if I were playing with a big account, which I ain't, me and the G Fund would probably be more of a friend.
 
Looking for another 2.5% drop in the S Fund before I get back in. So far looks like today will help a little with that. We'll see how the rest of the week ends up.

It'll be tough for me to stay out if we drop another 1% or so

We just kissed the 80 day SMA for the S Fund today. Ideally an entry point for me will be 4-6 down days in a row and us kissing the 20 day SMA (currently 21.95). We'll see though.

You made an excellent exit. You don't have to be perfect to make the trade a good one - as long as you buy back at a lower price than you sold, you win. Careful trying to be too cute and get the ideal re-entry price. Just stay ahead of me. ;)
 
Hear you loud and clear Sensei.

Those are my ideal indicators, which usually don't happen. But you should always have a plan. In the end I will probably go with something close and my gut.

On a similar note I have found patience is sometimes lacking for traders, or at least for me. I don't need to get right back in C/S/I just because I don't want to be out of the market. I will be patient and wait for when I fell is a good time to get back in, but having indicators and goals seems to help me.
 
What's your next plan of action ILoveTDs? Today's rally sure faded early on and I wonder if it will pop back up or continue to fall.
 
I won't be getting in today for sure.

Unless the S&P 500 is down 20 points by noon tommorow I won't be getting in then either. Thursday and Friday I will look to see were we are and make up my mind. However, I won't be able to move Thursday since I take the last part of the CPA that morning and will miss the cutoff.

Markets have taken quite a spill today. 20 points lower doesn't seem so far fetched anymore eh?
 
Well we got 11 points down on the S&P today, so another 10 points down tomorrow morning and I'll have to take a real hard look at if it is time to get back in.

If I had unlimited IFTs it would be a sure thing. I only have one left in the barrel though, and would also have to take that into consideration; e.g. how's my gut think July will turn out as I am out of moves, except the emergency parachute.

Take it from someone who has made a lot of mistakes worrying about leftover trades. Don't ! If it's a good move, just do it! If you run out, then you run out.

Didn't quite make the 20 day SMA I had hoped for today. Got the last CPA exam tomorrow from 0900 to 1300 est, so I won't get a chance to even see the market until after the IFT deadline tomorrow, so I doubt I'll make a move; would have to be based on premarket futures which I don't like making a decision on.
