Me too, but I can hope though right?
I really don't think anyone knows which way it's going and once again I don't think technical analysis can predict elections and what Europe is going to do about their issues, etc.

Rule of thumb is never invest/trade based on news events or potential news events as the markets tend to reverse direction in the short term. i.e. markets up on good news will reverse in the near future.

I'm not trading based on anything to be honest. I'm simply holding because I'm not good at making decisions on this stuff and every time I try to I make the wrong decision. Eventually I'll get my losses back lol.

i have been getting butt handed to me in apr/may for the last three years. i said i would pull out but didn't and loss everything form the first quarter but held on until the last 1.5 quarters and usually end up 5-9% to the good. sometimes i play hit and run but the buy and hold usuallu works if you can hold for three months or better. at this point its all about waiting for everything to settle down because there is not one pattern out there to me that everyone writes about that is holding true to history for at least the last four years

It sure was a little bit of BT. The prediction came true also. We can't get to comfortable though. The futures are looking good but it is going to be a long day.

I'll see you guy's tomorrow, but it might be a late morning. I'm taking the family to the drive-in movie, so if me and the misses stay for the second movie after the kids fall asleep, I'll be up till 2am mountain. I'll try to poke in before cut off. When was the last time anyone here went to the drive-in. I love them because the cooler of beer comes with me.

When was the last time I went to a drive-in? Must of been back in the 1970's in Honolulu, HI. Prior to that we went to the drive-ins on Hickam AFB. All those drive-ins are long gone. I use to love those plate lunches for .65 cents around town but thats a another subject.

If you mount an hd flat on the back wall of the garage and pipe the wireless sound in you can achieve much the same effect. Plus the neighbors can't tell if the windows fog up unless you forget and leave the door open.
