The dollar was up, the overseas markets were down. The MSCI EAFE which tracks the I-fund showed a loss of -0.30%. The market action between 12:00 noon and market close did not warrant any +FV, so the I-fund got stuck with a measly gain...I mean loss.

Anyone know how Efa/I fund handles the shanghai market being closed for a whole week while every other excHange in the world is in a bit of a free fall? I wonder if there is follow through on the downside next week.

I don't believe there are any Chinese stocks in the large cap I fund. So there should be no impact. Japan is a different story with 23% Japanese stock weighting in the I fund.
