I fund for September 08

Hi guys/gals!

With the US market fading and only 25 mins left in normal trading, I doubt that they will extend trading, especially with the 3.81% gain.

As for the dollar, it will be business as usual. I would not want to be in the I fund for tomorrow.

Nice to hear from you 350Z long time hope all is well. I agree imagine the FV Barclays will lay down on this. What a scam !!!

Thanks Braveheart,

I've replaced market watching with golf and I'm happy to say that my golf game has really improved. I'm getting very close to breaking 90.:D

FV or not, I don't trust this rally. The strength in the dollar against the Pound and Euro was a surprise to me. It doesn't bold well for Europe. Also, LEH and WM are down a bunch. The NDX is also in negative territory, that's a red flag for me.

Golf is more relaxing than stocks LoL

Congrats on the game 350, I too have been on the watch of the GBP/EUR against the dollar, I have focused more of my energy on the FOREX market and have ridden these two down as the dollar strengthens. I have easily made up the slaughter on my fund with this investment strategy. Now go hit the back nine!

Welcome back my long-lost friend! Your input has been missed! You'll break 90 before S&P breakes 1400 again.

I hope all is well with all of you.

estimate EAFE up +$0.5413
minus FV Monday (previous) of -$0.1023 = +$0.4390

dollar up .36% = 79.15

Thanks!

The dollar has strengthen further against the Euro/GB and weakening against the Yen. That means the Yen carry trade has reversed. That's why the market is fading.

I got my quick mad money for the month and got out.

We are in a bear market and I do not want to get caught with a lower price.

Good to hear from you 350z!!! Wish I had more time to concentrate on my game. The key to breaking 90 is course management. Find that distance and club that you are comfortable playing into the green and make sure you use that club on your approaches most of the time. Oh yeah, keep your head still on the putts. Drive for show -- putt for dough.

Thanks for your insight into the "rally" -- I dove in for Friday and Monday but got out today -- one of my few decent calls this year -- I think.

Great call. I funders will be rewarded big time tonight.:)

That big rally in the last hour came after the bond market closed, so I'm not sure if it means anything.

And thanks for the golf advice. Course management is something that I'm trying to learn. It's not as easy as it sounds.:D

EAFE final up +$0.5701
minus FV Monday (previous) of -$0.1023 = +$0.4678
