Not to rain on anybodies parade but it appearsby my indicators today that the I fund is not gaining as much as shown,so don't expect as high of a gain today as shown in the I fund EAFE.

Sometimes it takes a few days for the fund to settle. Don't forget Japan markets closed Monday and Friday for national holiday's.

Mmmm? So if I fund only went down .04 today than tomorrow shall not be good as the dollar was stronger and the I fund did not adjust for it! Therefor it will be hard for the I fund to gain tomorrow. I believe anyway. What do you think Vectorman?

The dollar was not real strong today, and as of right now looks alittle weak http://www.cnbceurope.com/markets/index.php?page=WWW-FX-out.xml

I say look to see how Japan will react to the US being down and the higher cost of oil; check this linkhttp://www.allstocks.com/markets/World_Charts/Asian_Stock_Markets/asian_stock_markets.html so far the Japan market is starting up, lets see if it holds. You asked me what I think, looking at the chart its looks like its toppinghttp://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/intchart/frames/frames.asp?symb=EFA , the long term trend as been uphttp://www.tspmoney.com/, but I think its due for a correction. From what I read, if the fedsgo with another quarter point I guess that will make the dollar stronger which handicaps the I fund. I think the I fund will be up tomorrow. All those secert adjustments is why I dislike the I fund ( but I still love to invest in it).

I fund tidbit. According to the I Fund fact sheet the I fund tracks the Nikkei 300. If you use Yahoo Finance World Indices like me the default is Nikkei 225. Today Nikkei 225 up 1.47% but the Nikkei 300 was up 1.89%. Whooohooo! Someone was in a goooood mood after their holiday.

That is interesting that EAFE is up the .675 Did you sell it? Mmmmm? The EFA on Yahoo Ticker shows it down .47 at the moment and the dollar is stronger. Is this thing going to adjust tomorrow and go down! TheMCSI Equity ticker Vectorman is followingonly comes out after the fact, at3:00 eastern time. What is the Nikkei 300 at? Maybe we can use it to get a better handle on this I fund earlier in the mornings as that was up today and use it as an indicator.

Showme what ticker do you use on the Nikkei 225?

Day to day, anything can happen because these markets, and the dollar, trade 24/7. By year's end thoughthe EAFE in dollars will be up or down almost exactly what the I fund is up or down.
