I have been with the gov for 23 yrs, and at the end of the yr it will be time to hang it up[early-age 58]; FERS-will defer until age 60; tsp, monthly outs till then; hopefully that makes some sense; I was really debating about the annunity stuff until I read these posts...thanks.

Hopefully you have taken advantage of the $5,000 catch up rule. Extra $5K is small but the tax advantage is great!
