I never really understood certain bands getting targeted for all the hate. First it was WINGER, who's guitar player Reb Beach is so under-rated, and then came Nickelback. Both of which wrote good songs at the time and reached a pretty wide audience with their popularity and sales. It certainly wasn't because of horrible musicianship, and Chad has a knack for writing catchy lyrics, and does it consistently.

Maybe it was just jealous backlash from those in the industry and other bands at how quickly these bands became popular and consistently put out hit after hit. It's so easy to just jump on the bandwagon I guess.....

I like nickleback. I knew some people that didn't like them.I ask them why, nobody could ever give me straight answer/reason. I only know some of their songs and only have one Cd. I think its their lyrics just hit too close to the heart for too many and they don't want to go there and deal with there issues. it is strange though how many don't like them without a real reason.

She was on TV in different capacities with different shows, and was super (almost mega) popular, but I haven't heard her name or anything about her in a very very long time to the point that I had almost forgotten about her.
