50% G, 50% S. cob 3-15-06. Selling the I-fund, looks like the I will have an UP day today. I would like it to reach $19.00 today, we will have to watch and wait.

I had a good run this week. The markets could go higher but I think I'll cash out and rest in one of those G-chairs (by a fishing hole since Fivetears is no longer in the I-bog) over the weekend and pick up the penny on Monday.

Looks like Asia is flat, Euorpe is down a half percent, and the dollar is falling. My guess is that the I-fund will drop 1% today and land around $18.90.

Looks like the Dollar is changing directions. The I-fund will not drop as much as I guessed.
 
Remember Gilligan, a falling dollar will help the I fund price not hurt it.

Also, the dollar's turnaround came well after the EAFE price had been established so it will effect the I fund price for tomorrow, unless they do a fair valuation adjustment.

The I-fund should of closed at $19.07 but we got a 14 cent FV and it closed at $18.93. I think the good Lord was looking out for me today!

Asia is up, Europe is up, depending of the dollar and the FV adjustment, the I-fund may reach a new high.
 
50% F, 50% S; cob 4-3-06.
I don’t like to buy high, but I believe the S is going higher and I plan to hold the S for a while, the F will be a short term move. I had a better first quarter in 06 than I had last year. Hindsight tells me that I should have been 50/50 S&I. I plan to be more bullish this quarter. Overall, I believe the economy is strong and growing.

Been waiting for some weakness in the international markets. Metals are reaching new highs, indicating a growing economy, so I’m jumping back in while hoping and praying that this rally continues.

Looks like the falling dollar will offset the drop in the markets for the I-fund. I will take my profits for April and wait for another buying opportunity in stocks.

I think I hear the Skipper and he’s not happy. “GILLIGAN, GILLIGAN, WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE NIKKEI ?”. First its Carnac’s crystal ball, now the Nikkei, I got to run before I get blamed for something else!

I don’t like to buy high, but I don’t see an end to this rally.

Also, beware acting like a character for the rest of your life, i.e., ditching the hat after the TV show is over, is a great start.

Oh yeah, do not sign the rerun rights away for $12,000 because you need the money.
