Frixxxx's Account Talk!

Who'da thunk it!

A bad earnings day followed by a great earnings day!

Oh well, waiting patiently for a jump back in point!

Happy investing!

Well, after crunching the budget numbers for 2013, I have gotten my adjusted gross income under $50K. Thank you, no applause please. I knew I could do it. I will be eating Ramen 2 nights a week. I will be practicing for my retirement. Now I just need them to keep taxes on my retirement income down to under 35%.

Mrs. Frixxxx is not to thrilled with adding an extra day of Ramen noodles, but she likes the idea of having no dishes those nights.

Seriously though, I'm saving up to pay cash for my next vehicle as my current 9 year old car will be going over 150K miles soon. Budget, what a concept.

Maybe a time to think about a pullback.

I think Gubner Brown out here in the Peoples Republic of Kalefornea was counting on your cash. He made the grab, the voters stepped in and jostled you - but you slipped his grasp. How are we proletariat supposed to fund the gubmint cheese without your contribution. I need your cash, man. Gimme it:mad:

The governor of this state wants to play shuffle the tax base. Drop the gas tax but get it back with more by initiating a state sales tax increase:

You know why I hate going to the doctor? The followup! Blood work points to thyroid condition.....redraw today.....Any words of knowledge/wisdom?

Also, I will be going back into the market tomorrow.

I'm only gonna say this once because I'm emphatic about this, having bought into that useless doctor &$@$ for 30 years, never having gotten fixed by them. They want your business, they'll keep you sick (not docs, maybe, (don't let them cut on you unless it is absolutely necessary) but big pharma does, with their poisonous chemicals). My suggestion, after decades of not believing it, get on a vegetable diet, no sugars, no processed foods, (no meat or alcohol for 2 months, afterwards, then only sparingly). Clean out your intestinal track with 2 months of supplements, woodworm and cloves. Take vitamins, B complex, all the rest too, A, C, D3, grapfruitseed extract, oregano oil, to get what your body lacks. Then a probiotic. get on the net and research how to cure yourself. The standard american diet is 'SAD.' No fast food either. Here's a stock market tip. Invest in fast food chains, cokes, big pharma etc only for a few more years because in a decade all that bad food, drink and pharmasuducals will be sucking wind. Doctors will not be needed to help us because we'll all be healthy as we eat good, clean fruit and vegetables. As I've said recently; You want to do well, even in the market, get healthy. Here's another investment tip; the govt is gonna pay you free money to live out some great years when you retire. Make them pay you for decades of great fun filled years. Don't just hang in there. Hang with the best. Be young. Never get old. Please don't question my comment on this board because it's not the place and you can find the answers to your questions on the Internet. Good luck.

Appreciate the comment. If you have any suggested specific things (diet, recipes, personal data) to look at PM me.

I've reviewed any and all symptoms I might have and the closest I come to is Acute infectious thyroiditis as I have experienced sinus swelling (more of an annoyance) than any drop in energy or increase in pain levels.

Thanks again JimmyJoe!

That's some great advice you're giving there, JimmyJoe!

That was actually pretty cool dude, my hat is off to you.

My diet is undergoing drastic longterm changes as well. mostly veg and protein and fats, some starches-not a lot, moderate fruit. increased attention to vitamins and minerals and probiotics and select herbal compounds. health is already improving notably, was starting to verge on high blood pressure before I made the serious change of program for good several months ago.

If could afford it, would go as much as possible for the organic protein sources-domestic grocery store supply way too drugged up with growth hormones and antibiotics-routinely due to conditions of confined feeding operations and wanting heaviest weight at slaughter. no wonder we have increasing problems with drug-resistant bacteria.

I buy some of my beef and most of my veg and fruit through summer and fall from local farmers market, stock up some for the winter, can't afford time or expense to buy full year supply from those sources tho. Been starting veg from seed on the dining room table from seed for next summers garden last couple winters. can't live on that year round-not enough growing space, but it helps budget and health both, as I avoid using chemicals on the homegrown veg. It helps out the pollinators too, when not using insecticides all the time. bees having hard enough time as it is.

The things I know now about food and stuff I wish I've known earlier. But it's never too late to learn. You need to google and ask your doctor before starting on any regimen. Note: Turmeric may be a spice, but it's known to lower blood sugar, so diabetics should not be taking it. And, because of its anti-inflammatory nature, folks on baby-aspirin regimen should also refrain from taking it.

1. Vitamin D3 -- immune system, heart, cancer prevention, help absorb calcium for the bone. You won't hear doctors recommend it because it's cheap. 10 minutes under the sun or 1,000 IU gel capsule a day is all that's needed. Get bloodwork to see if you're body is getting enough of it.

2. Coffee -- heard on news about study done where 2 cups a day lower chances of getting prostate cancer by 20%, 6 cups 60%. Doesn't matter if it's decaf or not. I make sure I take at least one rounded tablespoon of coffee a day.

3. Cocoa -- one of the best sources of antioxidants. I take 1 rounded tablespoon of Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder everyday. Antioxidants are what keep us younger longer by collecting destructive oxidants that do damage to our cells. Fruits and veggies are good sources also.

4. Cinnamon -- German study says that half a teaspoon of cinnamon and a tablespoon of honey every day can take away the pain of arthritis. It also prevents the development of diabetes because it helps regulate blood sugar (too late if you have diabetes already).

5. Turmeric -- another spice that's full of goodness. It's anti-inflammatory nature helps reduce pain from arthritis. It's also found to kill cancer cells in the colon by apoptosis (programmed cell death). Bought 2 organic Indus turmeric powder from amazon.com for $34. I take 1 teaspoon a day and I think one jar could last for 8 months. It's one of Dr. Oz essentials for good health.

6. Extra virgin olive oil -- found out about this because you need it to better absorb turmeric (fat soluble). It lowers cholesterol, so it's wonderful for the heart. So rich in antioxidants, you can actually taste the polyphenols. Trader Joe's California Estate Extra Virgin Oil is rated the best by Consumer Digest and sells for $5.99. Good for salad dressing, too.

7. Green tea -- contains antioxidants also. Has enzymes that may help prevent plaque formation in the brain (Alzheimer's).

My super drink: Put green tea bag in a glass of hot water, take out after 5 mins. and squeeze to get every drop. Add 1/2 tsp. cinnamon powder, 1 tbsp. honey, 1 tsp. turmeric powder, 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil, 1/4 tsp. black pepper powder (also helps turmeric absorption), 1 rounded tbsp. coffee, and 1 rounded tbsp. cocoa powder. I stir then drink half of it in the morning and the rest at night. Yummy.

Thanks for the tips/advice all!

2nd Blood test results tonight or tomorrow, Doc thinks it was a bad read.

It will be OK Frixxxx, it's just your system adapting from your excessive exposure to Fruits and Nuts!

6 steps forward, 1 step back this year......Maybe we should paint the country's flag on some of them bulls to see who's slowing them down.....

I think it started a bit earlier with Texas. It helps that they have their own power grid. From your other post... D'oh! I remember seeing Suffolk up there before. Yeah, the HR tunnel is awful, especially during beach weather. At least it isn't a toll any more.
