Frixxxx's Account Talk!

Damn Frixxxx,

Im so sorry. That's every father's nightmare, that something bad will happen to their daughter ( our always to be little girls). I'm glad that your daughter wasn't physically hurt, I'm assuming that of course, but I pray that she didn't. You have every right to be mad and rough on your posts. Your daughter is much more important.

You and your family will be in our thoughts and the cowards should be punished to the fullest extent as all criminals should be.

Hang in there bud, from one father of a daughter to another.

No, She's fine. She's up at her uncle's right now....at least she has someone!
Thanks CB!

Thanks mayday,

I'm a little cooler right now.....but WOW!

The only thing I can hope for is that she will be a little more observant (not that she should have to be) and hope she heals through this ordeal as she has from the other one. She is a strong willed girl!

That cabin miles away from society is looking better and better all the time...I hope to be self-sufficient one day!

I'm outtie, trying to get mom up there to spend some time with her.

It's time to take some time out and taker her to the shooting range and let her feel the heat. Buy her something that will provide a sense of comfort so she won't be easily victimized again or have that fear. There is a time one needs to fight back.

Frixxxx,
Wanted to take a moment to express my sentiments as well. I just read your post, and jaw hit the floor. Very sorry to hear, as I'm sure we all are. Some old-fashioned, old-west justice would be too good for them.
Glad she is OK!

Frixxxx- how terrifying for her ! I am so sorry that happened to your family - but I know you are overwhelmed with gratefullness you still have her ...... grandma

Horrible stuff. Glad she is OK. I know dad has already done the identity theft prevention stuff after thanking the good lord that his baby is fine.

Glad she's Okay, I can only imagine your upset....This sort of thing makes my blood boil:mad:...I can't remember your personal feelings about guns, so if you are against them, I mean no disrespect..But let me vent my point of view...Get her a gun and training to handle it..If she was my kid, I'd feel a whole lot better knowing she would be able to protect herself....

Again..I'm super glad she was not harmed..

sorry to hear the news, but i'm glad everyone is ok. you still have your family, that's the important thing. my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thanks everyone!

Well, I raised a strong-willed daughter.

Ok, here's the story:

She came home about 11:15PM from work. She had just exited her car (on street) and the perps, pulled up, jumped out of the car and took her jewelry, purse, and backpack. They seemed to be a little shaky and new cause they kept asking her were her jewelry was. She just had a little knick-knack ring on. They got in the car and left.

Cops were on-site about 11:30 after she got someone from the apartment and called 911.

She had her uncle come down (he lives 20 minutes away.) She called credit card company and had it turned off. She spent the night there and next morning made appointments for her car and apartment to be re-keyed. She got a notice on facebook that someone found her purse, minus the credit cards of course, but she did get her DL back. She made and appointment to get a new one (change the number).

So, she got a new cell-phone and a tracer on her laptop. Hopefully those will turn up soon.

She spent the night in her apartment on Saturday, and she has no plans to move. She did promise to be careful and more cognizant of her surroundings.

Thanks again for the kind words and it looks like ti can go on back to normal. Since she is a sociology major, she already has the support team in place at the school in case she needs to talk through this with the professionals.

Happy investing all!

P.S. Birch - you don't have to go far down the list to know this one.

Glad she is OK and I hope they catch the PUNKS that did this, although I don't have much faith in the Police in these matters. Crooks!!:suspicious:

Thanks Frixxxx,

I thought about you and your daughter all weekend, everytime I thought of mine, which is pretty frequent. :D I'm glad everything turned out OK.

Frixxxx,

Glad your daughter is okay. That is a scary situation. Good for her to be able to think through this and cancel her cards and all. Along with getting to safety.

Looks like the Japanese did some currency intervention right on cue in the wee hours this morning... go Forex fake money practice account, go!!!

Frixxxx,
It's been awhile since I've been in your home so all of this is new to me and I'm sorry I haven't kept up better.

You surely know my view of God and how important I feel it is to put our Trust and Faith in Him. But that gives no guarantee that events like this won't happen again (or even be worse).

I would highly encourage your daughter you get a pistol and have it ready to fire -- keep it in her glove box (or purse).

Frixxxx - I'm telling you the same thing I'd be telling my daugher. It could have been far worse and this is probably way more 'a blesssing in disguise'. It makes no difference what 'nationality, race, or whatever they were because the scum of the earth comes in every variety possible'. The point is .... if someone pulls up behind her as she parks.... or something stands out ... she certainly doesn't have to be paranoid.....

Way more the opposite .... she should feel totally safe knowing she's got a gun ... and calmly and assuredly be ready.

I always look in my car before getting in -- ALWAYS.

Anyway -- I'm glad it's over and hopefully you're not 'steaming' still

CCW instructors, really don't recommend the purse, because alot of times that is the first thing the BG's grab, especially in a snatch and grab scenario. It's a tough call when confronted like that.
