Frixxxx's Account Talk!

As is most often the case, Steady, you make a lot of sense. I've been wondering why the market continued to rise when "logically" it should be heading south! Market manipulation makes the most sense.

A million thanks my dear friend - REALLY I deeply appreciate it.

The Markets are reflecting Tom's comments whereby the Dumb Money is taking charge as the Smart Money is retreating. 'Logic' as opposed to 'Emotion' should ultimately be our guide so I am content with remaining in G Fund. I believe the 'real upswing' will take place this summer and few could be more anxious to get in and be done with it - more than me. :cheesy::nuts: When I buy later on in the months to come it won't make any difference to me what happens from day to day.

"I suspect many investors are eagerly waiting for the much anticipated decline which will take the markets to fresh bear-market lows, thereby giving them the chance to enter the market at the right price. Despite the scepticism and horrendous news, (so far) the market hasn't obliged. It is interesting to note that rather than correcting, stocks are working off the overbought conditions by simply consolidating. Similarly, the majority of cyclical stocks held up during the March meltdown and this is another bullish omen."

Birch,

I'm not a very negative person, and I know things happen in the market that sometimes cannot be explained. The run is impressive and yesterday, all funds were green for 2009.

I know there is a way to make money in this market and I have gone another route.

I am happy making my money in foreign currency. My system is working for me and I am happy to say I am currently batting .850 on my positions.

My TSP has been in "G" except for a few days in the "S" Fund. When I am confident that I have protected my interests to the fullest on my account, I will venture into the waters again.

Right now, my math on my investments is:

sold I shares at 22.09
I shares current 14.26

Savings of 7.83 per share. I don't have to make it up....If I bought into today and this bull market runs, then ok. I'm fine with my investment and choices. I think most everyone here is that has been around a while.

Anyway, thanks for the editorial.

Peace:cool:

Thanks Frixxxx

Frixxxx,

Thank you for the TSP Contributions Chart you posted in KLull88's member introduction. I cannot tell you how helpful that will be to the newbies.

Maybe it should be on the front page...

Frixxxx,
It's been awhile since I visited so I wanted to say hi before I left.

You surely know about Squale and the tragedy that happened to him. But WOW - look what has happened as a result. Teddybear (isn't that the coolest name ever for his wife? :p:toung:) - well anyway Kelly to all of us - comes out of nowhere and becomes a very deep and wonderful part of our world. LOOK what has happended since then.

Read through the posts in his home. Look at how we've touched Squale and his wife and the depth of love and gratitude they have. Once you get really blown away by all that.

Then go to my home and look at everything there - it's just unbelievable the extent others have poured out their hearts. I know it's something you would really appreciate.

OK - now after soaking up all those beautiful feelings and once you're really flowing (and overflowing) with the best energy possible - PLEASE - Lay down next to Nina and really let that energy do wonders.

Thanks,
Steady ------ oh yeah ---- good night everyone

Steady,

Thanks for the update, I was really behind until today.

I will donate what I can to help out SB.

Get to do my reverve thing this weekend and set some goals for my business.

Anyway, Peace Steady and my friends on the Board!

Thanks Norm!!!!!

Thanks 350-
And a nice ride you will have, 1.5250 will be an easy target. 1.5200 might be a little harder today.

Watch out for a serious upswing though, me and my buddy are staring at a dollar crunch and it's not looking good.

Thanks Frixxxx,

The move in the GBP smells of intervention. Bond yields are not supporting this rally. The 20dma should have been a launching pad for yields with this kind of a rally in the market. The key will be what happens when the UK closes.

I can still remember back in the days when all of us walked around -

bored stiff

aimlessly drifting through life

wondering when something would happen...:(

Then you were born :laugh::toung:

and everything changed :D

Happy Birthday Frixxxx

THANKS CB AND STEADY!!!!

Let's hope that infamous son gets a good job so that he doesn't have to move back home - unless you have chores for him to do.
