Hey Bro - I'm heading out but congratulations !!

Let's hope the job markets are ready to receive such an outstanding contribution to society and pay him well.

G is the place to be .....

if you're solidly resistent to excessive wealth

enjoy the agony of watching others pass you by

and refuse to give the Markets any respect.

I seriously believe you could easily teach a course on FOREX and probably at a level higher than what most others would offer...

...but hope ya find something worthwhile...

Later man,
Steady

Not passing me by. I took seed money from a future vacation fund and offically quadrupled it on May 6th. I stay G right now because I'm still up the 36% I would have lost staying in from last year. If I can quadruple this seed before Christmas, I will have enough backers to GIVE my son a job at writing about my company for the WSJ.

Capitalism
an economic system in which investment in and ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is made and maintained chiefly by private individuals or corporations, esp. as contrasted to cooperatively or state-owned means of wealth.

I am a follower of:

Nationalism
1. Devotion to the interests or culture of one's nation.
2. The belief that nations will benefit from acting independently rather than collectively, emphasizing national rather than international goals.

Ok, I'm done with the stock market. I am a capitalist.

I'll be here and there for a few more weeks but I want to share my experiences of late:

This market has made me a true believer in the greed of banks. Their manipulation and bold face lying have turned my stomach time and again. SO, that being said, I chose to go to the currency market. It has been a year and some change since going this route. I have crushed demo accounts. I have researched, charted, and read until my eyes bled.

Guess what, the same things that drive the currency market, drive the stock market.

I have determined that the market is filled with corporate lemmings and bureaucratic BS. They will get your money.

The U.S. took away shorts in the currency market. I had to move thousands of dollars overseas (legally) to trade the way I KNOW makes money. Now, a foreign bank makes my spread. Not an American Bank!!!

Believe me, I have 17 letters from two U.S. based banks, begging me to keep accounts here in the states, but they don't get it. I HAD to leave!!! Not only do they tell me how to trade they tax everything I make. This is embarrassing in a capitalistic country. No other country taxes foreign exchange profits. Printing money and selling debt is an expected behavior now and unfortunately this is becoming intolerable by me and many of my investor friends.

I am not a hater of America, but of our short sighted politicians, our inability as a nation to look inward instead of placing blame on everyone else, our generous welfare and support systems that seem to get repeatedly get abused.

Remember the question posed in the 60’s? “Ask not what your country can do, but what you can do for your country?”

I think you all know the guy. I sure the hell wish I had a chance to meet him.

I'm almost embarrassed to say, "Did my part, got the T-shirt, See ya Later!"

typo fixes to the post below....thank God my buddies review my work!!!! Sorry President Kennedy!!!!

+1 Frixxxx. They've got me beat down also, with their short sightedness and blatant market manipulation. They are going to get our money regardless.

And I'm not familiar enough with the Foreign banks making my spread, to try it. Actually I don't even know what it means :o and if I did, I don't know whether I'd have the capital to make it worhtwhile.

But I wish you Good Luck, :D

Bid-Ask=Spread

If bid is 50.75 and ask is 47.75, then Spread is 3......This is usually a "fee" to do business.

I can show everyone how to get in for as little as a buck, but I say demo, demo, demo. Play for fun and do the research. If you concentrate and don't get stupid, the easy moves are like shooting fish in a barrel.

Send me PM if interested.

Thanks for the explanation Frixxxx, now I know why they always show the bid and ask price. I may be interested in the future, but right now I'm in the middle of putting on a new roof, some indoor ceiling work, plus moving my Daughter to Cincy. So I kinda got enough balls in the air right now. :D

Death of a stock market investor:

Manipulation, what does this mean? To me, when the natural outcome has been derailed, changed, or illegitimately affected by powers or forces that should not have bias or influence on a subject.

The subject under discussion: capitalism. I grew up in a capitalist world. Well maybe I did or didn’t. Is capitalism the term that says a service or product will be provided by an outside source? Meaning if a need exists, a need will be met by an entrepreneur.

Well, it looks as if our government has become a “collective” entrepreneur. They have purchased shares in a company as a proxy for us. Yet, I have no proxy vote into this system. If I own shares in any company, I have a say. What if I want to sell off parts of GM to pad my bottom line? I should have a say.

I can’t believe this. That means there is no “free” market any more. It makes me want to stand up a movement to change the U.S. Constitution with the amendment, “Separation of State and Market”.

I will rant this one more time, THIS MARKET IS BEING MANIPULATED. You will see the pain when the banks give back all this TARP money and find out, they can’t hide the mortgages that are being defaulted aren’t just the sub-primes. There will be ramifications from the unemployment numbers that are also being manipulated.

Lastly, I’ve been 100% G for only one reason the last six months. I took a loan from TSP to invest elsewhere. Most of you know I favor the FOREX market. I have studied, tested, studied, tested my system with the help of another partner of mine and guess what? I have paid off my loan in three months. THREE MONTHS.

I will not be participating in market news anymore unless I feel it necessary to point out the flaws, I SEE, in that data. Do not take me wrong, there are valuable insights and valuable information I see here that is useful in the market. You know who you are and you share it freely. You should be paid for the advice you give here.

Anyway, I will be sparse on here, I only check to see if there is a tidbit of news I am not seeing that might be helpful to me in the long run.
