Frixxxx's Account Talk!

Frixxxx,Thoughts and prayers for you and your family. My dad passed away 2 days after he turned 51 back in 1976. The memories will always be with you. Sometimes you will smile other times a tear will be shed.

I echo the warm sympathies and prayers for you & yours expressed by so many here. It sounds very good that you had a good relationship with your father and were able to see him with your family.
Saw my Dad two weeks before he passed of a long illness at fairly young age; this event and responses has brought tears to my eyes for you and for me.

My condolences to you and yours. I've been through this with both my folks and can assure you the memories don't fade....they just become more cherished.

Thanks for the messages everyone. Much appreciated.

I will be at SPAWAR (Navy Agency) as an Associate Program Manager - Engineering (APM-E).

Have thought about buying a lottery ticket?

Welcome back to ClubFed!! That's awesome that HR was able to reinstate your leave hours both Annual and Sick and mandatory 5/4/9 sounds awesome. Best of luck on the transition back to the Fed.

Nah, 80 hours. I used to work one of those schedules, way back. 9-hr days, 5 days first week, 4 days 2d week. 2d Friday off.

Wait....5/4/9? Maybe my math is a little off, but 81hr payperiod??

Anyway, welcome back!!

No, it's still an 80 hour payperiod. Only 8 of the 9 days are 9 hour days. The 9th day is only 8 hours. Your short day can be any of the days really, but if your off day is a Friday your short day is typically the other Friday.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you whom have taught me many things over the years!
