US debt clock runs out of digits
The US government's debts have ballooned so badly the National Debt Clock in New York has run out of digits to record the spiralling figure.

The digital counter marks the national debt level, but when that passed the $10 trillion point last month, the sign could not display the full amount.

The board was erected to highlight the $2.7 trillion level of debt in 1989.

The clock's owners say two more zeros will be added, allowing the clock to record a quadrillion dollars of debt.

....

I guess it won't be so bad, after all. Let's join the new world order.

By the way, did anybody catch a quick thing Obama said the other night at the debate? On his economic views, he said that we need to coordinate with other countries to make sure our financial actions will work.

the republicans have been in charge of congress for the past 12 years prior to 2006 when the dems got a slight margin; still Liberman blocks most senate dem initiatives.
I think de regulation has shown it does work. you have to watch human beings like a
hawk eye when it comes to money . Get the fbi, the cia, homeland security and follow the money trail and get it back .Water board a few of these guys they have done more harm than the terrorists.

Republican - Democrat. No difference to me.

Democrats will pass bills that are more democrat sounding.
Republicans will pass bills that are more republican sounding.
Both sets of bills are full of all kinds of provisions that satisfy both parties, but work toward the goal of bloating up the government's role in everyone's life.
By choosing Republican or Democrat, you have no choice.

If you invested $1,000 in a company and it went bankrupt and the stocks went to 0, you lost $1,000. It just vanished.

What if you kept that $1,000 under your pillow? What if national debt built up so big that there is only debt and no real money? Who's going to collect that debt from you? Maybe nobody. What if the system itself changed over to a new one, no longer accepting that $1,000, since it just represents "toxic waste" debt? You just lost $1,000 because you believed it had value.

We might actually be in that phase. Watch as companies just vanish and people are hungry. This "Christian" nation might not be so Christ-like when we all want food.
