we've seen nice gains so far this week, but how long will it last??

I am going to try and post here everyday - that will be the first New Years resolution I will break! :laugh:

Going to trust the Green I see on those sentiment charts and ride on with my current allocations thru the Holidays. Got no other choice but flee to the Gee. Greed overrides Fear for now.

This is my last work-day until next week... Have a "FAB" Christmas everyone and Stay Safe all those facing bad weather for the next couple of days!

Getting out of the S fund and taking some profits today hoping for at least an even close this afternoon... we met our monthly goals.

Me: 43% - C / 57% - G

Looking forward to a fresh New Year!
Time to kick back & regroup for our 2010 stratagem - yeah, that sounds good

Today certainly sucked.

loggin in at TSP.com to see my money before its gone-gone later on.

This I fund is a love or hate kinda thing but I am not going out b/c just one IFT left and I want to be IN not OUT starting next month.

some times the good comes with the bad....lick your wounds, I know I am....but keep the faith.....if you didn't care you wouldn't even invest and that's probably the most painful thing to do.

Maybe this would be a good time to move to to C or the S funds.

The news about China's banks may not be good for the rest of the month.

Not getting out of the market just rethinking whats best here in early 2010.

No buying spikes, looks like we just drift sideways and lose our gains for the month so far. All the i funders (me included) are losing our shirts. I will be in the red come C.O.B today. Bleech!

WELL -= the bull market may not be done for but I have taken about all the punishment I want to take for this month (-5%)

:notrust: If we don't see some solid market upswing before noon tomorrow I may be bailing out as 2 new IFTs are just around the corner.

Futures are looking better this morning - I am staying in for now b/c I dont want to be OUT at the first of the month.

I will guess its going to be a short-lived rally, maybe a one day rally, then again maybe it will go to Thursday or beyond?

Then again maybe this has a lot to do with the fact that b/c of the record snowfall the Kreeps in DeeCee cant get to "work" to further undermine the economy and our freedoms with their stupid leftist globalist agendas, thus causing the market to Rejoice with Gladness?

Nah.

My gut tells me this is just a small bounce and we are headed lower still...

Gone With the F Fund, dearest Rhett, and frankly I don't give a damn!

hope the sell-off at least waits till Wed. and can keep today's gains. Toodles!

The rally can end now. I'm not setup for it. I'll be gone with the F fund forever as soon as I make my next move. I didn't know it could drop so much in a couple days. I like your gut feeling too.

Reports were good today. I noticed quite a few bailing to the Gfund in the last couple of days....there are around 90 that are 100% G and nearly 140 that have at least 50% of their TSP in the Garage.

I might be there too if I wasnt still in the Red... thanks to my IFT to the I fund early 2010...if I had stayed C/S or even better S only...

So I am 100% in the S funds - hoping the bull will charge forward as I dont want use another IFT just to jump out just yet.
Morning movement often fades away before the closing bell...but

If this market can give me positive results, even if small, I must continue to be prone to stay in.
