F Fund where will it go ?

Right now the FRTIB needs to explain how this fund is measured. We are now in a World Market so where the 10 Year Note moves is anyones guess but for now I would stay clear of this F Fund. The rates were to reset today at 1:00 PM EST from what I heard. What does that mean to the F Fund ----- If you don't know what is causing you to lose or make money stay away. Once again FRTIB needs to tell us what they are using the AGG is no longer accurate and won't be again. BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Advise!

I ment the F Fund was up 1.60% - but TSP.gov showed it went down. what gives?

Tell me about it. My advise. Down be in the F
Fund now. If this market go's update, lookout below. :(

Don't be in the F Fund right now.
If the market go's up, lookout below.
Sorry.

Does anyone know why the F fund has dropped the last 2 days while the Barklays index it tracks has risen more than 3%. Are we being ripped off?

Fees, Dividends, Discounts and Fair Value. But at a smaller level then the (I) Fund (I think) ;)

Round and round she goes.... AGG up almost 2% today. Bond yields down just slightly (about 0.30%). Where the F fund price lands, nobody knows.

Nice guess 350Z, but I really wanna see your golfing partner up close and personal!!!!!!

Btw, We had a 4 man scramble yesterday and we got asses kick. I had my driver working great but the rest of my game sucked. Couldn't hit my irons and my short game, which is normally pretty good, was nowhere to be found. We had a big hitter on our team but he could not keep it on the fairway. Good thing a hotdog and a beer was included.:D

Oh, it looks like a gain of 2 cents now for the F fund.

So, you say two cents today for the F fund, huh? ...he says, subtly changing the subject.

Did anyone ever come up with a better symbol or ETF for the F fund? The AGG seems to have crossed over to being completely useless.

Thanks malyla. Still looking. I did find this...

"Troubles in the credit markets have riled the most mundane sector of the ETF market: bonds."

"The largest bond ETF by assets, iShares Lehman Aggregate Bond (AMEX:AGG - News), with $9.2 billion in assets, traded at a 2% discount to NAV Thursday. Last week, it traded at a deep 8% discount to NAV."
