Unfortunately we don't hear about these until they hit the most active, or highest % gainer lists.

The only way I have known to take advantage of these story stocks is to own a basket of them and hope one or two eventually make "the move."

I prefer to trade the ones that have recently started making the move because it brings in a lot more traders and trading volume, and sets up quick trade opportunities - whether selling it short, buying dips, or both.

Global stocks have risen after the US and China agreed to slash tariffs on each other's goods for 90 days, in a major de-escalation of their trade war
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says both sides will cut tariffs by 115% from Wednesday, after trade talks in Geneva at the weekend
It means US tariffs on Chinese imports will fall to 30%, while Chinese tariffs on US goods will fall to 10%
Chinese officials were becoming concerned at the impact of US tariffs.....that the situation was unsustainable
