First Citizens Bancshares FCNCA –1.11% one of the biggest U.S. regional banks, is snapping up large parts of Silicon Valley Bank two weeks after its collapse triggered a wave of market turmoil.
First Citizens (ticker: FCNCA), up 10.5% in the premarket, is buying all of SVB’s (SVB) deposits, loans and branches, taking them off the hands of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. They will open on Monday under the new ownership.

I am very happy that this has been revealed to me. I am close to retirement and I had no idea that this was going on. I am glad that others have done the foot work in exposing this. I’m handicapped and FWIW Ido hope that this gets fixed immediately. I have noticed that since 2021 my returns are not positive but negative. I assumed that markets, wars, etc were to blame? This new contractor has got to be held responsible for this.
Is it possible to go back to the old contractor Who had all the computer code working for 30+ years To be replaced by others? I am a computer science graduate and I am somewhat knowledgeable of all the details needed to complete such a change. It would take in depth knowledge of TSP rules, regulations, laws, and detailed information into the information about TSP stipulations, not to mention the complex computer code needed to complete such a move. Just the computer code needed for this would require extensive evaluations and thought? That is no small task and require a lot of time, with all the complexities involved my best thought on the best way forward is to go “Back to the Future “

Stephanie always provides great insight. Love this kind of stuff cause they're both way smarter than I am :laugh: . . . . Maybe someone else will enjoy this also.
I just "hide chat replay", or just full screen so I don't get distracted and can pay attention to what's being said.
