Re: Brain Exercise

structure of game check: is there one pre-defined correct answer for each set of images, or will any word that satisfies the criteria and can be justified win? is the point of the exercise to find the known one, or explore the many possibilities?

i think i have been approaching this from too narrow of a perspective, that probably explains why i suck at it so far. also, i notice that folks' answers say as much about them as they do about the images, is that intentional?

Great questions, burrocrat. The word to the puzzle is predefined, so there can only be one answer. It is up to the guesser to ask the right questions about each picture to flesh out the word. Better to get pencil and paper. :D

There's a reason why I try to weed out words such as happy, smile, or enjoy -- the images for these would just be interchangeable.

Re: Brain Exercise

Maybe we need to work together on this one. They are all holding things (bowl, burger, drink, note). They are all taking things (nap, bite, sip, shower). The shower picture is from an old cereal ad. I am about to give up. I have other things I need to do.

Ah, but you forgot to question what he is doing while taking a shower, NavyEng. :D
