I agree!

I do look at your predictions and I'm impressed with the success. But being out of stocks makes me nervous, so I may be risking a possible shark attack or two (market loss of >1%) as I learn about investing.

Keep up the good work. Love reading your posts.
 
Ebb... What's the Ebbtracker's outlook for the next 3 days, Mon, Tue, Wed next week? If it's posted somewhere, I can't find it.
Keep up the great work!!! I look at the Ebbtracker everyday before I make my IFT. Thanks for all the hard work!!!! :toung:

Ebb.... Thanks! Without the Ebbtracker or any other speculations, I went to the G for Monday. I hate to give back what little I've made so far this month! Have a great weekend!!! :cheesy:
 
I tried to do a IFT this morning and could not do it on the computer. I was traveling, and called the thriftline from the airport....it went through everything right up to the transfer....and said it could not be done at this time?!?!?

Oh well. Locked out on all sides. Good luck to those that made it to the I-fund for Monday. I'll be looking for our next move for Tues.....and hope it works!

Major problems tonight on the TSP.GOV website.

I was unable to get into account access at all, over a two hour period of trying.

Whatever their new password security issue is, it's not working.

I DID change my password to their new configuration earlier this month. (Must be 8 , with both letters and number), and logged in and out ok over the last couple weeks.

But tonight, it just DIED trying to go into the TSP Account Access menu.

Screwed up bad.

I hope they get it fixed by monday!
 
I was on the road and had the same problem. going to program the phone number to my cell. Maybe it was good luck I could not make a transfer for Monday. Nothing lost yet.
 
Finally- it's working again.

I don't know what they did yesterday, but it certainly was painful not being able to access the TSP.gov account info.

this morning it seems to be working fine.
 
It would appear they had a problem with the new acknowledgment page that was coming up yesterday. I checked this morning and the page no longer appears. You would think they would have a platform to test these "upgrades", hopefully someone is having a real bad weekend!

ATCJeff... When I read that acknowledgement page I thought it said something about it only appearing one time and after you clicked on ACKNOWKEGE the first time, it wouldn't come up every time. :)
 
I can affirm that the new "risk acknowledgement" form that appeared Friday was a revised notice that users had to acknowledge they know the risks of investing in F/C/S/I funds. Once you clicked the acknowledge button you were to go to your account page. This is where I believe there were problems, because I had to log in a second time. Every step of the fund transfer process was real slow, and the final confirmation screen never appeared, just a notice that fund transfer service was not available and to try later.

Anyway, notice that when you now log into your TSP account at TSP.gov that there is only a security warning that you must acknowledge. There use to be both a security and risk warnings that you had to acknowledge.

For what it's worth:

The System uses the ebbtracker's I-fund with simple cross-checking rules:

a) Two or more stop signs = safe haven (G/F-fund).
b) Two or more dollar signs = stocks (I-fund).

Following the above rules, I'm on the I-fund for next Monday/May 21 (3 greens), Tuesday/May 22 (3 greens), and Wednesday/May 23 (2 greens).
 
The ebbtracker's tracking of the I-fund (+2.09%) is doing great, but as I've said before it takes at least two of the funds (C, S and I) to be in sync for the system to do well. Once the ebbtracker's C or S-fund gets in sync with the I-fund, we should be back in business. :)
