Ebb's formula sure takes the emotions out of the process AND it has a good track record. Now if only I had the nerve to follow it more often! :nuts:

Ebb, maybe you should be more flexible in your system? Why lock yourself in to 2-3 day predictions strictly on patterns, when breaking news events, intraday market conditions, etc. very often affect the next day's pattern. Your system seems to create an excellent jumping off point, but since you do apparently study the market daily, why not allow yourself the flexibility? Unless your ultimate goal is to fully automate, thereby, perhaps, giving up some gains?

FUTURESTRADER, I used to include news events and other extraneous stuff to make my decision, but I found out that I would be better off just following the ebbtracker's I-fund. It already tracks the dollar and I-fund's price. And with the new cross-checking function of the C and S-fund, it's doing even better. You can't argue with the stats of the ebbchart -- if followed correctly (no emotion):

As of Jan. 16 to Jan. 31 -- +2.66%
As of Feb. 01 to Feb. 28 -- +2.75%
As of Mar. 01 to Mar. 31 -- +5.55%
----------------------------------
..........................Total -- +10.96%

That's +10.96% in less than 3 months time!

While your at it, why not track Oil/Gas prices and predict them to, you would have been in today, but you never know what is around the corner, is it possible with the Ebbtracker?

Nnuut, I'll try to see if I can get past prices for oil. Let's see, I already have my sub-model C, S, and now O for oil. Soon I'll be in stocks only a third of the time with all the cross-checking.

Amen to that. I'll follow the boat too. Didn't loose money today....just didn't gain what could have been a "guess" to be in. Overall results of the ebbtracker are remarkable! Thanks again, Ebbnflow! I appreciate your work and willingness to share your info with us all! You're tops!!!!
