Congratulations Ebb,

Please keep the ebbtracker's tracks and wheels well-oiled, and keep the engine properly tuned, so that it doesn't mind the additional weight it has to pull since I hitched my cart on to it. It's a long ride! Good luck!

Will do, sponsor! Yep, it's gonna be a long and bumpy ride. Bumpy, but certainly a fun ride. :)

Just checked out your ebbtracker. Good calls.

Thanks, white! Check out January's (post#2) and February's (post#1) ebbchart here:

http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/showthread.php?t=4010

The tabulations I did for January and February were done by just adding and subtracting the percentages. I know I should have used Tom's TSP spreadsheet calc., but it was easier for me at the time. But from now on I'm doing it properly (March and up). :)

System using the ebbtracker's I-fund with cross-checking:

Jan. 16 thru Jan. 31: +2.66%
Feb. 01 thru Feb. 28: +2.75%
Mar. 01 thru Mar. 09: +3.05%

Wow, I just saw EWGuy's Weekly Tracker, and I moved up! I believe only eleven members are still ahead of me (+3.24%). :)

From Stalag 10 (bottom) to the penthouse on Rokid's Tally in two weeks.

It turns out there are twelve members (you know who you are) on the tally ahead of me. :o

Just updated the ebbchart for the next three days (WED, THU, and FRI). Here's the link:

The ebbchart at the first post of this thread will be updated after fabijo uploads it to his server. Thanks, fabijo!

You seem to have bounced back nicely after a slow start. I notice you timed that last drop rather well and could benefit from a bounce tommorrow. Very nicely done.

Fabijo, the last time you said that I knew you were just kidding, but I just saw your move in your thread, so I think you're serious this time. Well, good luck with your new strategy! :)

Just did an IFT to the G-fund. I forgot all about the G-penny! Looks like today is one of those days the ebbtracker gets hit. I expect it once in a while, but the good thing is I'm exposed to stocks only about 54% of the time. Good luck and good trading. :)

Yep, we got movers coming in tomorrow, sponsor. So, you know what I got to do -- pack up! I just did an IFT to the I-fund today. Good luck all. :)

Whipsaw, you say? :(

Yeah, Ebb,
I have unlimited respect for what you are doing. Your tracker not only prevented most of the losses a couple of weeks ago, but it also made me a significant amount of money. The problem, as I see it, is that there is too much uncertainty in the markets right now, and I prefer to be on capital preservation mode, and sleep better. 2007 is only beginning.

I have definitely not discarded the ebbtracker. However, I prefer to wait for next week and see what happens with the FED. The Fed will probably stay on hold, because a slowdown appears imminent, even with increasing signs of inflation popping up. But it is easier for me to stay mostly in cash and avoid having to make a comeback from lower levels. I do feel that another leg to the downside will occur and that we will be able to buy at lower prices. If am wrong, I'll just make less money. Having said that I haven't lost sight of your good work, and I might change my opinion in a dime. I'm still here Ebb. Good luck to you too!:)

Thanks, sponsor! As always, you bring up some salient points. We all have different thresholds for pain. I know capital preservation is number one priority for most people. Good luck to you also. :)

I'd be updating the ebbchart tonight for next week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).
