Thanks LM, :smile:Thought about it but decided I am staying and may buy in more if it drops a lot. Will see... looks like its breaking lower so will hope its not massive. :worried:
 
hey guys I thought I was stupid after getting out after the first drop and taking a loss but I’m actually glad to be sitting on the sidelines now to let this consolidation happen.
Good luck to you all I hope everybody makes great decisions and eke what games you can get for now.

Tom, Thank you for the October seasonality chart...looks good towards end of this month and start of next month...but nothing says that must play out. But Will see.....eeeeee! :smile:
 
Well... this was to be a very short play... might become longer...dunno...since I just entered Monday on that big drop, was hoping for a quick bounce. Maybe yesterday's up was it! If so, that's pretty lame and could indicate more serious downside. It's definitely not trending except with downward bias. Yep...maybe stuck now... but you all know DBA doesn't have strong guts.... will take a lot to withstand a more than 3% drop from this point. I am still positive on thus buy, but just a bit. :blink:

Todd, this was risky buy so if I get spanked......hummm....maybe that'll teach me! :smile: I do like the upcoming upward seasonality but it won't matter if it tanks before then to just create a net loss.... we shall see!

If trump gets his justice in I think that will create a rally.. Especially if we continue to drop now.. I think most people wanted to be out for the election... Looks like some of us waited too long. Lol

What would a SCOTUS have to do with the market? Not trying to be political here. Genuine question, as I can't think of many examples where a SCOTUS had significant macro economic impact.

I suppose it would go towards stability. Markets like stability. But, linking a Justice to stability in a way that influences the financial market is hard for me to wrap my head around.
 
I think investors would see it as good news that trump will succeed in achieving the office if the decision goes to the court. I'm assuming of course that the dip now is primarily due to investors not knowing who will win and that uncertainty. Probably has some to do with the virus resurgence.
 
Yes, also, not having 9 (odd number) in Supreme court would be nightmarish if anything is contested, goes to court and there is a 4-4 tie. How would that be resolved??Markets would really drop with ongoing uncertainty!

oh gosh..one more... I watched this tribute to Led Zepplin on TV, and then saw Heart's concert with Jason Bonham when they performed this song in Kansas City, MO (Starlight ..outdoor venue) in 2013. Awesome...saw them again a year or two later in Austin... not sure if they are touring anymore. Would LOVE to see them again.

 
Uhhhh.. what I meant is are these descending/falling "Wedges" (= Bullish)???? Descending Triangle is different and is Bearish.

Was studying the two, and the descending triangle has price action hitting repeatedly on a support line as though its knocking/pounding on the door to drop lower, while the descending wedge, although still dropping, is narrowing its channel indicating that Bears are becoming fewer/tired?? Check out link with definitions for both plus example real life charts. Very interesting!

Best wishes...I am likely keeping my 50%in equities until next week, even though futures are down right now. If price breaks below the lower trend line, will likely exit. Will see.....Have a great weekend!! :smile:
