It would be nice to have that choice, but society won't let it happen. Who ever gave you the pills, if caught, will more than likely see the inside of a courtroom. Just saying. And if you have life insurance more than likely they wont pay it out to the survivors.

He could eliminate/reduce the risk to accessories by ordering the pills online himself (after learning how to do it effectively), in advance, or having another smartly? and covertly order them for him, using his normal computing devices and his online credentials. Not sure about the insurance angle, but that may not be a major factor, in this case.

My mother has actually requested the same treatment...at some point in the future...not presently. I find it rather unfortunate I'll be stuck between carrying out her wishes and the law. I have asked her to do the research on the best legal approach because I can't even help her with that without leaving a "suspicious trail". Thankfully the statement has also been in her Will for years. Sadly, I doubt that offers much legal protection.

Thanks for sharing your experiences DBA! Our experience with hospice for my mom was very similar to yours. Very wonderful caring people but not totally effective at controlling pain at the end. My mom was in an inpatient facility. The problem we faced was a reluctance to give the pain medicine on a regular basis at the end. We had to insist and make a request for each dose. Fortunately my spouse is an RN and helped us recognize signs of discomfort before they became too severe. Those decisions are difficult to make but made easier if all family members are on the same wave length and have the patient's best interests at heart. God bless you and your family!

I did some research into this topic, as well, when my Mother-In-Law was sick. Do a google on "Death with Dignity" for some thought-provoking information...

Best wishes,

Hey girl. Just wanted to share this video a friend from Texas sent me. You live in West Texas, right? There are some beautiful shots in this video and I like the music track, too. Enjoy....all you Texans.

A Little Bit of West Texas Wyman Meinzer is the photographer. He once lived in the old jail in Benjamin, TX . The photo of the coiled rattlesnake appeared on the cover of a wildlife magazine in the 80s. He said there were times he crawled a long way on his belly to get a good shot of a wild animal. And the music is perfect. It was a pleasure to see so many living deer with such amazing antlers. These old fellows have been around a long time to grow horns like that. The music is by Doug Smith. Doug is from Petersburg, Texas. Doug plays by ear - He cannot read music, but has many CDs you may want to buy. A pickup accident left Doug paralyzed, but fortunately he has learned to play again. Most of the pictures were taken in West Texas in the rolling plains (Caprock to Seymour ), the Fork, 6666, and Waggoner Ranches. There are some scenes in Palo Duro Canyon . Take a few moments and view and listen. I doubt if you'll ever see such fantastic use of music set to amazing animal and landscape photography. The changes in the tempo perfectly compliment the scenery. It is quite simply a beautiful portrayal of the state of Texas .[/FONT]

Wow KonaKathy, That video and music were Awesome!!! Beautiful and breathtaking shots. Thank you so much for posting this.

I've been to West Texas more than a few times...very different from Central Texas. The land is much more rugged but beautifully!! I saw Palo Duro canyon in there. Herein Austin we have more trees, Spring fed rivers, and just to the West is the beautiful Hill Country...still very hot and plenty of cactus. The mesas start about half way between Austin and El Paso. The music was so very nice and like you said, well choreographed with photos. Thank you so much ...really enjoyed that.

So how are you doing??? I really like the views from your home. you live in a lush paradise!! Very pretty. Hope all is well with ya! Take care...DBAnnie :)

TSP Daily and Weekly charts.

Here are charts links that I have posted in the past.

The DAILY charts are set to show Exponential moving Average (EMA) for 10, 20, 50 day averages, plus Bollinger Bands (BB) and MACD plus slow and fast Stochastics.

I keep these links on separate bookmarks so I can get to the latest information quickly. If one pulls each one up, bookmarks it, one can then just click that link to pull up each chart showing the most current data, each day. These links to Bigcharts.com update automatically so you always have the latest info without having to create them anew each day.

I also use these links to checkout the intraday market results. I reset timeframes (left of the linked screen on DAILY charts) and set to a two-day with 5 minute, or 15 minute or hourly increments. You can reset timeframes to what you want, going back a year p, several years, a decade, etc.

I will try to repost these charts/links once a week, but once you bookmark each link, you have the same information that I post weekly. If you have a question about these charts, you can PM me. These are just nice to access if working remotely and cannot access your permanent links. Nothing here should be considered as financial or market advice.. Strictly all informational.

Best wishes on executing your strategies! DBAnnie :)

Hello, Well I said I would post charts weekly but they are just below under post #694. Those chart links are still good and show the latest as of Friday....tap away to see charts if you like.

S fund -obviously from looking at charts, you can see price is hitting the lower Bollinger band (BB). The BBs are just starting to expand outward like a trumpet bell... But not yet..you see the beginnings which means there is a BIG move coming. Which way is the question. Logic would say that since the price is along the lower band it will move further down. I should think that is what will happen based on MACD, but it could drop and then move right on up.
--MACD is sloped downward and in negative territory (south of the Signal line)
--Fast stochastic is turned downward (k% line is below d% moving avg line), which reflects the Friday price drop.
--Slow Stochastic is turned upward with k% line above D% line.

C fund - from looking at charts, the BBs are very tightly constricted...even looking back a few months you can see its tighter than other times. So looks like market will be making Huge price move. BBs not yet bowing out, so price action tomorrow should better show breakout direction. Price is along upper band. Both BBs are slightly sloped upward. So a strong move up in price would seem likely because MACD also looks like it is headed upward, but market can do anything.

--MACD is sloped up and kissing the signal line. So, looks like it may cross above signal line tomorrow
--Slow Stocastic has K% ABOVE D% line, around 82. Has slight downward angle due to small price drop of SPX on Friday.
--Fast Stocastic is at about 82-83 but the k% line has just now crossed below D% line....again due to Fridays price action.

My Comments about charts should not be viewed as financial advice...informational ONLY. Best wishes on executing your investment strategies!!

As previously stated, the chart links on post 684 are still working and show current info. Just wanted to point out a few more obvious things.

Notice that the DWCPF chart (S fund) and Fridays large price drop caused the 10 day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) to touch the 20 day EMA PLUS the closing price fell below the 50 day EMA.

chart links on post 684 are still working and show current info.

Yesterday's close down for both DWCPF chart (S fund) and SPX (C fund) now have indicators pointing downward...MACD, Fast and Slow Stochastics. Nothing to indicate upward movement. Very risky to enter without any indication that price has bottomed. But taking those risks can get you huge gains or huge losses depending on how strong your stomach is.. And how you execute your exit!!

Th BBs for SPX (C fund) still very very tightly contracted and now price is at bottom of band. Its gonna move big...but which direction?? Safest thing to do is watch for indicator to show the direction. Right now we are nearly at support line set back back in July. Now, Look at last 6 month big lows-April, May, August. If it breaks down, Nothing to say it couldn't drop as far as 1940s to 1960s...open the chart and draw the lines.

As for DWCPF (Sfund), the price yesterday was just around the resistance that we hit back in lateMay and early August of about 1010. So we might be at point of support now, but if that breaks down the next lower support looks to be around 985.

Best wishes! :)

SPX -C fund. Notice that today, it appears price is causing the 10 day EMA to touch and possibly cross below the 20 day EMA. This is not good!! Also price today seems to hitting below the 50 Day EMA. MACD and stochastics are down sloped. Further downward price action?? Looks like no bottom yet.

DWCPF -S fund - could be close to a bottom. Not sure..depends on if support holds on at this level. MACD and fast Stochastic still negative and down sloped, but Slow Stochastic is looking like it wants to head up. Of course, if it does go up it could be a fake.

Best wishes! :)
