KB, I do think it will drop but market can do anything! It can just as well go up but overall I think it will drop some.

Technology stocks also not doing as well while Financials sector did very good last week...hummm... Yes dropping my 15% left in C... To go 100%G.

This is me - finally exited to G yesterday. But when to re-enter? That has been extremely difficult to gauge lately as well. A respected market analyst I follow on Twitter said this: "When the time comes to buy, you won't want to." Difficult to put into action, but wise words I think. :smile:

Hi Eastj, I find that the entry point is easier to identify but much more difficult to quickly act on because of the risk involved. What looks like a good setup can fall apart by the end of day, or next day. We just don't really have the ability to day trade nor to even swing trade. But many do try! My belief is that once price gets Slow Sto to drop below 20 and it starts to turn up, one must enter as soon as it turns up, starts to cross to go above 20 or you see a candle that indicates a turn around...like one with a very long bottom tail or decisive up day candle. Even then pulling the trigger is scary! ..... As it can go back down immediately or go up a few days and decide to form a true fakeout by doing a double bottom...ugghhhh... but it does seem that if MACD default crosses positive within a few days, chances are good for continued rise....

Some COB daily and 10 minute charts. Quite a drop in afternoon for S fund and some for C fund, which had held up well when S fund started to drop. Fear entered the market in last hour of day. Wasn't listening to any news today, so I don't know what happened.

S Fund -COB -Daily candles

S Fund - 10 minute candles - Dropped some in morn, leveled off and dropped more at end of day

C Fund - COB - Daily candles

C Fund - 10 minute candles - in dropped in morn but then got back to almost reach the morning high at 2:10pm and then dropped off quickly.

VIX fear index.... 10 minute chart. At 2:10PM, fear increased quickly thus drop in equities due to inverse relationship. Definitely no divergence here.
OKay...so whaaa happpened???

I guess I need to catch up on news...but will read TSPtalk comments first. :smile:

Hi MMK, Thank you and I agree! And...the best is yet to come with Veteran's Day (Thank you Veterans!) and then...Yumm...Yummmy....Turkey day followed by a time to remember our blessings and celebrate the coming of our savior at Christmas, followed by New Years. I Love this time of year!

For Thanksgiving, I have already shopped and have all ingredients with exception of the turkey...our grocery store doesn't have them in yet.

... But keeping an eye for it.

I try to just do entries based on getting in as close as possible to when price drives Stochastic up from below 20 line. so right now, I am waiting for drops to get back to the reset line to go in. Sometimes if it looks like it is not coming all the way down to 20 I must make harder decision on entering... Hope to enter next week. Santa rally too far off ...expect it to start just before Christmas but must watch how it plays out. Sometimes comes early. Others start their buy and hold around this time...
