Sounds all bad.

Negative headlines tend to produce the strongest advances in a bull market. Really, prove it. A resilient market in the face of bad news is a very bullish sign for investors.

Morning Jay: Why Won't the GOP Agree to a Tax Increase?

http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/morning-jay-should-gop-agree-raise-taxes_576334.html

As a Federal Civ. Service retiree, and now with 2 very major disabilities, I'm personally very saddened to see what seems to be the "brinksmanship" being played with all our very lives - at least I hope its just "brinksmanship," otherwise, myself and others like me that gave our lives/our careers to this, our government, being given (what will in essence for me at least) an almost immediate spiral toward death.
I wish I'd seen this coming, and withdrew my 401k - but even had I done this, its my disabilities that will certainly kill me in short-order, should these funds not be replenished immediately. I know will have to forgive all, and will but but it'd be my dying hope that they all feel ashamed, though I doubt it.

Thanks CH,
I have a bit nested away in the G. I was considering waiting till they hash out the debt ceiling however if we get a bit more downward follow through tomorrow I may committ it early. This could very well be the ingredients for later on (when the debt ceiling issue becomes more prominent) that people say its already baked into the cake. If that makes sense.
