coolhand's Account Talk

Fed Golfer,

I see you went all in today. What your thoughts on why you went all in? If you don't mind :)

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve... I went back in to stocks because we had a two day pullback. Plus, the Spx retreated to the support area that used to be the double top. Qqqq's and trannies and Emw all did the same earlier in their pattern and continued the bull channel. Vix reached the mid bollinger, it often bounces off that. UDN hit the multi week support line. Bpcompq didn't budge and remains in uptrend. All this is TA that supports buying the dips. Sorry to hijack your thread CH, but it was asked here a few posts above.

I like to hear your keen insight, so anytime. :)

I assumed that the TSP system is offline today due to the holiday... but the site says nothing about it. I even changed my allocation and was given no warning what-so-ever that it wouldn't be processed till close of business tomorrow.... Are they open?

Not today. IFTs won't be processed until tomorrow's close.

On the TSP's share price page it says:

loginHoliday.gif

The Thrift Savings Plan will be closed on Thursday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day. Transactions that would have been processed Thursday night (November 11th) will be processed Friday night (November 12th) at Friday's closing share prices.

When you go to your account login there is a Holiday closing warning as well. It is not on the front page which is a little wierd. But what does the thrift board care; as they are the anti-transfer brigade.

A fairly crystal explanation from KD as to why its important that the foreclosing entity actually be legal owner of the note, proven owner-has the papers to prove it....http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=171972

if the "wrong party" foreclosed then the debtor is still in debt due to the fact that the real party at interest never came to court requesting relief!
(even tho the foreclosure is supposed to legally satisfy the debt).

Not only that, but-
If the notes were never transferred at all, or the paperwork was in fact defective (that is, the wrong party foreclosed) then some investors were definitely harmed and others unjustly enriched, in that the proper people didn't get the proceeds from the resale of the foreclosure.

In short, yes, fraud by the foreclosing party matters just as much if not more than the squatter getting kicked out. Maybe the person is even still paying their mortgage, but somebody made up a story and foreclosed without having the paperwork to prove they were entitled. It's happening! A few courts are wising up, many more need to.

The article the above was based on:
Bank of America urges dismissing robo-signing suit
(Reuters) - Bank of America Corp has urged a federal judge to throw out a racketeering lawsuit over its alleged use of "robo-signers" in foreclosures.

Ok, this is my last post on your thread for the day, CH. You just had to break my Bull Market Bubble, didn't you! ;)

CH,

Without excluding the excellent work and effort of other members who are analyzing the markets, I think that the fine tuning of your short-term system seems to be working just fine. Thanks.

I'm happy with it so far. I don't talk about it much because it's so new and I'll probably continue to evolve it over time. It's still on a sell.

Unless this market stages a big comeback in the final hour or so, the Sentinels should produce a sell signal today.
