Seems some people got washed off the beach in a sudden large wave- and the Coast Guard makes a save-

My mother never learned how to swim, the one time I've had her out to the Pacific coast, I taught her to never turn her back on the ocean, and never get within the splash zone on rocks, that there are "sneaker" waves that come up farther and higher than the norm and can catch a person who's not watching out.
