We decided on going north and hit I 40. It was 126 degrees in needles as we passed through. Got gas near there and it was an odd feeling out in the heat. No sweating. Just like an oven i guess. Don't know how folks live there. Went through Williams up to grand canyon and out the east side. Awful quiet east if there. Did go to monument valley and four corners. Headed to durango and alamosa CO today
I did I 8 last year into san diego. Went south from Tennessee and hit new orleans and el paso etc. came back through las vegas and utah to Denver. So this year we are doing southern colorado. Been on this trip for 4 weeks now! Hasn't been bad at all. We stay in hotels! Not the " ruffing it" types. Good thing the wife and i get along.

Great trip. I suppose quiet is a way to describe it. You did get to experience or at least drive through Cameron, Tuba City, Kayenta and maybe Teec Nos Pos. Quite quiet. Enjoy the drive and the dramatic change in terrain. Change in climate too!

My work area used to be Flagstaff to Mexican Hat including Page. Many installations that are even quieter than the roads you travelled. It grows on you sort of.

Yep, Clester, next time you go through that part of the country slow down! I love the lesser visited spots in that region...Little Monument Valley...the Moki Dugway grade, eeek!...Goosenecks State Park...hiking down to all three arches at Natural Bridges National Monument...Antelope Canyon near Page (take a noon tour for the best lighting)...Canyon de Chelly National Monument...the Bisti Badlands and El Morro Nat. Mon. in NM...and you drove right by the San Juan Skyway (starts at Durango, and taking the drive over the Million Dollar Highway or the steam train from Durango in late September is amazing)...Mesa Verde NP...and much more....my favorite things in NM after living here for 12 years...#4 is wandering the dunes around White Sands Nat Monument away from where the people are...#3 is the slot canyon at Kasha Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument....#2 is a combined trip to Mogollon ghost town and The Catwalk trail in SW NM near Silverton...and #1, a sunset walk to the bat cave at El Malpais National Monument near Grants...watching the monsoon thunderstorms on the horizon to the east and then watching the 1000s of bats emerge from the cave at dusk right in front of you...it's like seeing the bat flight at Carlsbad Caverns but with no people around, a surreal experience.

I still have a 50% buy in C and S funds. But i will wait for some bounce before buying in with the other 50%. RSI bellow 30 may do it too

Home sweet home! Been a fun month on the road. Seen a lot of the country. From the desert to Colorado rockies to the pacific northwest to the plains of Kansas and most of the time in California. It has given me some perspective of this great country.

Bit, i am glad to be home. Reminds me of what my father used to say when i was a kid and we would be enjoying our back porch in southwest Virginia. "Son, I've been all over the world and it doesn't get any better than this right here!"

Back on eastern time so maybe i can catch up on market action. Im looking for a RSI below 30 and a bounce on C fund for a buy.

Might have hit it intraday. Not sure this is the bottom. I would love to see a lower low on price and a higher low on rsi (divergence).

Feels like a questionable rally. Lots of repositioning for brexit and month/ quarter end? Idk. RSI got near 30 but not quite enough to signal a buy. If we can just get that divergence on price/ rsi

Still holding 50% C for now. S and C funds are in a slight downtrend and I need to see C fund breakout above 2020 for a strong buy but both are above 50 and 200 day moving averages and in bull market rules.

Also F fund is at extreme levels for RSI at about 80. That would be a sell but sometimes things can stay overbought for a while. But when it comes down that should mean a buy for stocks.

My 4% lead on C fund has evaporated! :( now even.

Now that the F fund is coming off an 80 RSI (how is price higher today???) I will be looking for divergence to set in. Higher price but lower RSI. That could signal a strong buy for stocks. A new closing High from June High is a buy as well. I will wait until tomorrow to see if we get a pull back to the breakout level.

Just wanted to remind myself that the 50% minimum stock allocation in bull market worked. I would be pissed if I had gone all G fund :)

I have bought 50% S fund. It is breaking previous high and is in a bull market. My system has me in at least 50% and I have that but breakout is a buy too.
