FS

He loved what he did, performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London as recently as 2011 at age 85. I loved his music, always will. wish I could have seen him in concert.

That's happened to me, too. In fact, I double and triple checked the news on Chris Squire last night before I posted. Still, I cant get my iphone to make the link a hyperlink

Wow,

Weird, some of my crawlers are returning items that are a year old for a lot of things......need to go back and find out what happened.

I thought it was familiar, but it was early this morning.

I only learned about Winton a couple years ago and I didn't realize he was still alive then. He's not known about much over here but he's highly celebrated in parts of Europe. There is a great movie on his heroic work. Maybe it's mentioned later in the article. I'll check for it.

This doesn't fit well under an "entertainment" subforum, but definitely fits the Rest In Peace theme. for people who made a difference in people's lives by the choices they made.

RIP Nicholas Winton. someone I never heard of before, but happy that it's not too late to share the discovery. He deserves to be remembered. Think Schindler's List.
