Re: The Cemetery

Can't say we didn't see that one coming. How tragic her talent was squandered & forever silenced.

All in common with a common theme are; Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, and Jimi Hendrix..died at the age of 27

Re: The Cemetery

I hear they bury Amy tomorrow, way too quick, I was about to push the Expedia button and get my tickets and attend the lie in state ceremony.

Way to promote tourism there guys, I mean c'mon, she was fairly well pickled to begin with, I'm sure she'd keep at room tempature for a few more days?

Sorry to hear about the accident. I hope for the best for the families. This will have a big affect on the basketball program as well. I used to fly single engine aircraft and will be interested in what happened.

Harry Morgan, Colonel Potter on ‘M*A*S*H,’
Dies at 96

Harry Morgan, the prolific character actor best known for playing the acerbic but kindly Colonel Potter in the long-running television series “M*A*S*H,” died Wednesday morning at his home in Los Angeles. He was 96. His son Charles confirmed his death, saying Mr. Morgan had been treated for pneumonia recently.

I always considered Harry Morgan to be one of the great actors of all time. He appears in dozens of TV shows, movies, etc. He played Detective Bill Gannon on "Dragnet" in the 1960's, as well as Col. Potter in the MASH series in the 1970's to 80's.

Great talent. Goodbye, Sophie.

Re: Harry Morgan, Colonel Potter on ‘M*A*S*H,’ Dies at 96

Thanks for letting us know. My dad loved this guy and MASH and so did I when we used to watch it together.

I also saw him in The Ox-Bow Incident. Great performance...check this movie out if you haven't seen it. It's really a Henry Fonda movie and great in it as well.
