SMHHere is what Musk posted:
From Yahoo:
Musk on Sunday called his latest request “a very basic pulse check.”
“The reason this matters is that a significant number of people who are supposed to be working for the government are doing so little work that they are not checking their email at all!” Musk wrote on X. “In some cases, we believe non-existent people or the identities of dead people are being used to collect paychecks.”
He has provided no evidence of such fraud.
Separately, Musk and Trump have falsely claimed in recent days that tens of millions of dead people over 100 years old are receiving Social Security payments.
Everything they say is bullshit, or at least 99% I'd wager. Anyone who supports this guy is welcome to come at me, I don't give a damn. The time for staying quiet and trying to be nice is over here.Separately, Musk and Trump have falsely claimed in recent days that tens of millions of dead people over 100 years old are receiving Social Security payments.
This is nonsense.. We had to reply to his initial opm email weeks ago. At that point he had a complete, verified list of gov. email addresses and employees. Here is what Musk posted:

I did not take it but Good Luck to you. 11 folks from my organization took it but I haven't spoken to any of them. I believe they are reviewing their contracts today.Anyone else admitting to taking the fork in the road offer? Today is my last day due to planned leave the next 2 days. Got my signed contract printed out and framed.
I'm curious
Not standing in anyone's shoes, I'm not sure if I'd take this offer. Having come from 2 critically manned career fields in the military, it always seemed like they cut too deep & quick, then had to offer bonuses for retention.
Will anyone here be able to re-apply to their old job or any other federal job after taking this compensation?
I'm out of touch with the federal workforce, who's more prone to stay vs. leave (Dem Or Repub) ?
First question, not sure. I would assume if there were no continuous monetary benefit then yes. Will anyone here be able to re-apply to their old job or any other federal job after taking this compensation?
