oh man, i still have an account talk thread?

i missed an intended trade yesterday, had a 10:00a MT (noon ET) conference call, difficulties getting things to work and assisting other's login. was going to sell yesterday's obvious high and buy right back in today on the pullback.

now i'm going to play the flip side of that coin, allin today (hope the low holds) and sell in 3-5 days before we get to the cliff.

i've been trying the buy and hold thing and it just don't fit my style, i get bored. then get myself near trouble in the lounge just to stay occupied.

day off today, what do you guys do here during the day? trade equities and talk market stuff? that's crazy. the night owls got a whole different game going on. bunch of moonbats.

new allocation: 0G, 0F, 60C, 20S, 20I.

yeah, i have a bad habit of stealing other's avatar's, and being permanently momentarily confused too, fortunately the confusion only lasts a moment.
 
oh man, looks like i'm gonna take a pounding today. i was hoping for a quick all in and then back out, but i'm not quick enough it seems. be careful what you ask for, i'm gonna get the in and out allright, just not what i had in mind.

now where's my sticky pants?

well vix is back, like rollin the dice with the brothas, close and exciting.

problem is, once you twist the top off, whoop ass is hard to put back in the can.

is that a stampede i'm hearing? could this turn the herd? no matter, dust in my teeth and wind in my face, wouldn't have it any other way, hiiiyaaa! hiiiyaaa! git on up! chk chk chk.
 
wow, massive bloodletting today, Russell 2000 off nearly 5%.

note to self: next time you are sure, i mean absolutely sure, done all the figurin and head scratchin, that it's a good time to do an IFT ... put the mouse down and step away from the computer, and don't come back for 3 days.

there goes all of my year's gains, and still picking up steam as we roll into negative terrortory. but i am a stubborn sunny beach and can't bring myself to sell the loss. good thing i don't plan on retiring anytime soon.

wish i had some dry powder to buy shares here but got it all in right before the bottom fell out. smooth move donkey.

well i always wanted to try bungie jumping. not really, was too chicken, skeered it might hurt when i hit bottom.

but this tsp thing is cool, kinda the same thing, but when you crash it don't hurt until much later.

well after yesterday's bounce my percentage gains on the tracker are exactly one eight seven. for all you law enforcement types or gangsters, i think this market is trying to tell me something, maybe my allocation will get murdered today.

it's all a big conspiracy, rigged i tell you, and just toying with me.
 
You need to make the big money yesterday to hold out the rest of the week. I figure that I will be down another 5% but thats only if my LUCK holds out. ha.
 
Used to believe that Santa Claus the Tooth fairy and Sugar Bear would always be on board to keep this market rollin skyward. I woke up to discover I was deceived. reality sinking gradually in, will enlist the aid of Witchiepoo and Mayor McCheese from now on.

oh jeebus, the market is going to do a killing, i just know it.

but will it run over the spectators on the rocket ride up, or will it take my legs out from under me again?

is there a volatility index on the F fund equivalent? that thing has been jumping around lately.

come on, shake that tree hard, we need mom and pop to capitulate and finally start chasing the gains.

Do we really need to keep asking for capitulation:notrust:?

This term means something WAY different in the military.

I see no reason to surrender anything. We can correct gradually in this market and the mood swings need to stabilize...:cool:
