Regarding Demark or any other analyst, I think we should pay attention to their calls but also, be cautious as nobody is perfect. The 1076 call was good but who knows if he will get it right next time.
 
Ok we're right their at the 200 dma. Do I go or do I stay. It's held once already. Will it hold again.:confused:

I have a few minutes to watch it and yea I missed the 1.97 gain and maybe more today. 1153 is what I'm looking for.:)

What are you looking at? The 200 dma is still well above the current price of C, S, or I.

I'm sorry I ment 50 dma, thanks for catching it. I'm still staying with 70/30. Might be my spidey sence acting up. Just think it's a good entry point that might hold support.

In review, I was looking at the weekly and we are above the 200 week average. I just had a bullish spirt in me. I hope I'm ok?

Good luck, Bquat. You have been very patient, I'm a bit surprised you bought at this point of the rally but your returns are better than mine. I'm considering a move to F today. :)

Well the market action seemed more bullish. A 3% gain, a 15 gain and another 1% gain with no gaps, I thought this was a stronger kind of build. I could be wrong but I have miss a lot of loss and can try for some gains. I'm a little more happy with my move now since reviewing the videos last night and hope for a pop. Little bull.:) Been moving computer around and may not get simple chart today, but will do one this weekend.
 
Good luck, my friend. I keep waiting for a better entry point during each month because of the 2 move limit....and I keep missing the 4 to 8% gains that some others have been fortunate to catch. I hope I am wrong but I still think we are looking at a new low soon. I know that some are now pointing at 1020 but I don't know...

For now I'm looking, studying and still waiting. One of these days I'll get into the market and then it will really go down!
 
Simple chart using bullish bias. Since I am trying to be a little bull, I'm trying this chart hoping 1150 holds. I'm concidering the dark blue lines as the main channel with a false break out 3/4 of the way. Using a bullish outlook I can see the upward move to 1205. We just have to break the little red line. Risk to down side 1117 and we've been there before.:)

There you go us what do you think?

A break out of 1170 (which pre-market has already done) does not confirm a bull market/run... this is a holiday, aka low (very low) volume and the bond markets are closed. Watch what happens and be careful to assume all of this ugliness is over. Our economy, and those of the nations all over the globe, have not done enough to pull up out of the ditch yet...

Sure, you could even see a spike near 1200 too, but that doesn't mean we are heading up in any meaningful way... Just saying, be careful...
 
We've touched 1188, a level that Tom Demark called too far, too fast (Oct. 5, interview on Bloomberg TV). The upside may be getting a bit limited - we will see. Good luck, Bquat.
 
Well did good today.:)

Redrew black rising channel and changed resistance line to support. 1210 S&P looks doable.:)

Since we're back in the dark blue declining channel, do continue up to the top at 1210 and go back down to 1117?

Do we have enought strenght to even brake the current resistance? MHO is that we go up to 1210.:)

Can we break above 1210? I don't know.:confused: Need some good earnings reports.

Looks like the 1187 held. I'm staying in because there was no bounce down and we're consolidating today. Little bull:)
 
I expect a washout to the downside at some point this week. As bad as my insights have been lately, this may be a good contrarian indicator for you. :)

You may be right. With no profit taking at the close and no profit taking this morning, I think the bulls are looking for the 1210 area. Aiso have you notice the candles are getting longer to the up side.:)

I have to take this chance because this is a high base forming and if 1210 breaks everyone that has been short for the last three months will have to cover.:D

This is the risk to reward ratio 1210 or more or 1150. I'm still a little bullish and could be wrong but what if I'm not? Being a little bull is hard sometimes but someone has to do it. Right Birch?:D
 
I saw some other systems are signaling buys based on MACD crossovers that occurred yesterday. Good luck, Mr. B, I could see it working out either way at this point. I would rather be a little bull like you - maybe at some point later this month. :)
 
I actually got lucky for once and made a little money the past few days. Got out today - those foreign banks still have me jumpy.
