bmneveu's Account Talk

The low of the day came at 3:09. And then we ripped +2.5% straight up for the next 51 minutes into the close. What (Who?) the hell was that? Crazy.

I do not know. Although not always accurate, Cramer has a decent track record. But he did say on Wednesday's Mad Money that we would be up again on Thursday. We know what happened then. Grain of salt, I guess.

Is that what that was? Is there any way to know for sure?

3% down looked good to me...

VERY tempting indeed. Looking/thinking back on these MAJOR gap down drops there MAY be another day like this tomorrow. And then maybe another dead cat bounce until things settle down. And by settling down, what will it take? Oil to bottom? Effective treatments that help the sick? Any one of those and we could see a vary nice bounce. Reality for the short term, next couple months, I doubt we'll see any sense of settling down. As is your ID, I'm thinking we're still to see PLENTY of whipsawing. I have 1 move left. Almost went in Friday as well but held off. Without some form of a convincing bottom at least a forecast (crystal ball style), I'm okay waiting.

Good for you BD; being in the unfortunate position of riding this monster down, my strategy at this point is to jump out at a (relative?) higher spot and back in at a low, assuming any recognizable levels present in this 'volatility.' I should have had some form of 'stop' to exit at.

I was considering putting 25% or so into the C fund to snipe a one day bounce, but honestly just lost track of time with work. Oh well.

Can the bulls hold strong into the afternoon. That has been the question on the few up days we've had lately.

Wow, I wonder how far back I have to go to see when we were last at this level.

Oh, there it is... Ugh.

Hanging out in the G fund. I might try to snipe one of these big one day gains within the next week or two, but I'm not planning on getting in for longer than that or with a significant amount of my account any time soon.

Good luck. It's a 50/50 crap shoot. Or, should I say 75/25 in The Bear's favor. :D

Looking at today's chart, I have a bad feeling we are gonna drop off a cliff in the last 15 minutes going into the close. Ugh.
