i know i know, this is not a political thread, it is about christmas. this may not be how your family celebrates, but bear with me while we consider the gifts of god then, which is what christmas is all about. it is not the same for everyone and everyone gets to choose their level of comfort and satisfaction.
many years ago in a clear moment of desperation i made a deal with god: i will always work if you always feed me. pretty simple. actually it was his idea, i just took the hand up instead of the handout. since the moment i was saved i've never gone hungry. that's not to say i haven't been uncomfortable or unsatisfied, but never hungry. good deal.
