A new high for bitcoin on Sunday.

Bitcoin hit $7445 last night before pulling back. Bitcoin was basically the sole beneficiary of that announcement regarding the CME futures contracts (see prior posts), and it ran up impressively. At the same time Ethereum and Litecoin went slightly lower. Traders seem to move from one crypto to another lately so if we do see some kind of short-term reversal down in Bitcoin, I'd wouldn't be surprised to see it to go into the others. Just a thought.

I'm still holding litecoin and while there have been some short-term spikes and dips, it has basically been flat since I bought while bitcoin has soared.
 
Does anyone have thoughts on Bitcoin cash? It wasn't really on my radar until the big surge. Planning on dipping my toes into the cryptocurrency world today. Combination of Ethereum, Litecoin and Ripple.
 
I believe I have 1 bitcoin cash still after the previous fork, but the uncertainty is one reason I might not recommend it. Coinbase does not trade bitcoin cash so if I wanted to sell the one I have, I'd have to create an account on another exchange. Hassle.

I just opened a coinbase account. I first started looking at it when it was $2,000 over the summer. It looks like you can buy and sell. Am I right?
 
Was just talking to my brother in law about this and how he had used it about 4 years ago or so when it was still fairly cheap ($300 a coin). Said he had about 10 of them and cashed them out. He's kicking himself for cashing them out now.
 
If you have a coin base account, go to GDAX and put in a limit order near your strike price. It will save you a ton in fees! Hope this helps. Don't buy or sell directly on Coinbase.

Wow, all the cryptos (the main 3 anyway) are going crazy lately.

Litecoin is at $88. :eek: Boy, I sold that way too early. I sold a bitcoin this morning and still have some ethereum, but trading-wise, I would have done better just holding and riding the wild waves.

Tulip mania!! :D
