Birchtree's Account Talk

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Just found out my ALB has declared a 2 for 1 split effective 3/2, and increased their dividend 16.7%. That'll be a keeper awhile longer with crude dropping. Also, my BW shot up 9 points this am - must be making good money - no buyout mentioned yet. Just sharing the joy. Snort.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Baaboo says that if he wins the election he is going to transform the country - right, into what? More affirmative action in education and job opportunities, more WIC, more illegitimate children riding the bus to school with our young moms seeking tax payer help with daycare, learn a trade helping Jimmy build habitat homes - all I see now are Mexicans doing the work. Perhaps he'll disband the military and we can pray our way to peace. If I pissed off some liberals - too bad.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

You take yourself way too seriously. You don't **** off anyone with anything you say. You don't have has big an influence as you would like/think you do.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

I threw out the worm and that was not the bite I anticipated - give me more hostility.
Anyway, sold my NVL a few minutes ago and bought HBI and GWR - keep doing the DCA thing.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

I'm glad you've decided to give me another chance so close to sweet heart day. Even if my feelings are unrequited there is always hope. At least you haven't put me on ignore. Let's have fun this year.

Yes, lets have fun!...........

Re: Birchtree's account talk

It appears that the Sugar/Birchtree posting alarm went off and they sent the appropriate authorities to see what was happening. I believe I have an open invitation here as you have in mine Birch. Am I mistaken?

Re: Birchtree's account talk

You are always welcome. Ever hear about outside fireplaces on porches? They are very popular in western N.C. in the blue ridge mountains. If I can ever make enough money I'm headed that way, eventually.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Birch,

Didn't want to start a conversation on James site.

Was only looking for a one day profit in the I fund. Still think Uncle Benny is going to be the catalyst for a USM two week correction. USM needs a short one for about 3 to 5% just to get things back to normal. These whipsaws are murder.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

The historical perspective indicates that the largest gains in the SPX often come in the first quarter in relation to the third year of a Presidential cycle. If it stays true we'll get the bang before the correction. We may not get a 10% or greater correction until fall. Many money hoofs are headed this way. Thumper and Snowshoe are scampering away from the I fund.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

As of this morning my oceanic account is $13K in the hole. I should make that loss up today. I only want $60K for the month of February and Uncle Ben will undoubtedly help me tomorrow. If he is honest with the data interpretation we are golden. Snort.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

I see my BW (Brush Wellman) is up another $2.08 today. That's up now $12.50 in two days. If I were a bunny hopper I'd cut and run, or pack and roll, but since I'm an investor who happens to have this one right, I''ll sit tight and wait for more. Should be looking at a split before the year ends. Snort.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Ferdinand dropped off a brown bag with $17K in it - I'm now $4K to the positive for February. That leaves me with 11 days to make $56K. I just might make this one. Starting to see larger point increases in my stocks as we approach the epicenter of wave 3. I got this bull by the horns.

From a guy named Caribbean Jim: "Thanks to all the bears out there who are keeping the bullish sentiment at continued low levels with their extreme bearish forecasts. Us long position holders couldn't thank you enough. Keep up the great work". You don't get rich by following the crowd.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Gesus Ferdinand who told you to turn on the lights? There is a lemming parade today with many members heading for the lilly pad. I think Trigger was even heading in that direction. We like it though don't we.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Wow! I just checked the boards. Lots of moves out of the market. I'm starting to see tumble weeds. I'll stay around and look for the money carriage passing through this ghost town.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

How I long for those days when I could buy C fund shares at $12.00, even $13.00 or $14.00 - the lower the price the greater shares to accumulate. The new folks should be unhappy having to pay these higher prices - remember you make your gains on the number of shares you accumulate, not on your percentage gains. A 30% gain on no money is still no money. What I find interesting now is that the SPX is not moving higher on the back of the OEX - it's more broadly based, and my friends that's a good thing. The broad market now is testing its previous reaction MCSUM highs of late last year, and if we are able to move above these levels, a highly robust rally should take place. One in which point gains will be sizeable because of the fact that many of the MCSUM's are as high as they are . Look for back to back 100 point days. This will reinforce the Primary 3 Elliott scenario.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

We've had a classic buy spike on the SPX breadth MCO which now leaves the SPX breadth MCSUM less than 75 data points from moving to new highs and currently supports a reading better than +675. If these previous tops of late last year are taken out we will get new higher price objectives on the SPX. Currently we are still working with the all time highs of 1528, these new price objectives will be in excess of 1750 on the SPX. My top all along has been for 1700 - if we do that then I become toast - I'll have to repunt and rethink my strategies. I'm going to try to maintain a bullish stance in perpetuity - or at least until the next 4 year nesting in 2010. The second year of a 4 year trend really raises some bullish hell. I keep looking for breakdowns, and there aren't any - very 3rd wavish in all respects.
So far this month I've taken in $19K - with $41K to go to meet my goal. I am however totally prepared to give back the full $19K if the market will leave me at the zero line and not dip into my January profits. We'll see.
