If you are thinking of clucking remember that since 1900, 63% of all election year annual highs have come in November and December, since 1925 it's 67%. Hedge funds that have missed the rally this year are now putting money to work and will continue buying all next week. At least me thinks so. Snort.

Someone is going to get a thumping today - perhaps the S funders will make room for me on the tracker as they fall from grace. I know I'm going to feel some pain too but it might be tolerable to get some sacrifice from the fiscal clif. I'll just ride the thunder of this turbulence and again let my dividends do the heavy lifting.
 
John Boehner to speak at 10 - who knows what he'll say. The whole day could easily turn positive in a flash if there is news but I won't hold my cheeks. I actually like lower prices into the new year because I'm into share accumulation. I actually turned a profit yesterday in Winnebago (WGO) how great is that. So is this my chance to take opportunity to move up the tracker - time will tell.

He will more than likely say, "the democratic party is going to be resonsible for the largest tax hike in american history..." same thing he always says. Im not holding my breath for any type of resolution.
 
Today felt like a normal consolidation with a little panic setting in - that's actually healthy. My oceanic account did ok this week, here is what happened: +$54K, +$86K, -$11K, +$23K, -$48K for a sweet gain of +$104K. Getting a bit closer to my December goal of +$276K. I'm chopping on my bit to put some money to work real soon.
 
Currently I'm only $102K short of making my monthly goal - so let's see if Santa can help this week. Then I'm on to January January of 2012 I made a gain of $283K and that will be my target.
 
It's time for some figgy pudding - may Wednesday be more positive. One step backwards and two steps forward.
 
I thought that perhaps 1420 would hold - maybe that will happen by the close. I count 45 dividends due for reinvestment in the next 4 trading sessions and more than several special dividend payouts - I honestly didn't keep track. Currently have 136 dividend increase announcements for this year - perhaps 2013 will be as generous or even better. It's like getting a pay raise. So take me over the cliff Obama, I'm so ready.
 
Birch: I see you refer to our president as Obama, not as President Obama or even Mr. Obama. Don't you think the man should be addressed properly? After all, he is working hard every minute each day for the american public!
