Birchtree's Account Talk

Slowly stepping in front of the Grand Trunk and buying: NFX, ANR, ACI, SDRL, TWIN, LNN. If we rocket up I'm buying all the way Airborne style.

It's been a dangerous market morning to be walkin the rails - but if FB settles out I must eat fear and move forward because the pricing is beautiful to the hoofhearted.

Well I was complaining how bored I was last week only giving back -$47K - that didn't last long. This is what the oceanic did this week: -$69K, -$50K, -$47K, -$96K, -$34K for a wallop of -$296K. I'm working on a -$500K month it seems and I'm getting close: -$134K, -$47K, -$296 for a crap out of -$477K. But I have cash as well as dividend income so I hope to be an aggressive buyer of wall flowers next week - the list has been made to buy as well as sell if necessary. Trying to hold the base in this storm of nonsense. Whew, I'm certainly getting big time with my money flows. All I need is some common sense to prevail - keep all the luck.

So we just finished the worst week of the year - frankly I've seen worse in days gone by. Capitulation may be close and I refuse to surrender to fear. I know a huge rally is approaching and I'll be patient. I'm a serious buyer of wall flowers next week market willing. Snort. I'll check my tracker position at the end of next week.

I know you must be licking your chops. Your pile of cash snapping up all these cheap dividend stocks is gonna pay off in due time. The market is a double edged sword, for sure.

And I bet 29 of them won't graduate High School. All the women though will vote Obama - just like they did last time. I would be willing to bet this guy gets kickbacks from the welfare checks - that's his survival mode.

Birch,

I'm scared - I think I will sell all my gold. Look at that chart!!!

Actually, I sold what little gold I had about 18 months ago and bought a fridge. That fridge cost me one ounce of gold I bought years ago for $240. That might have been the best investment of my life - excepting TSP which is treating me right...

I still have my 15 one ounce coins bought for $800 each or so - now I'll venture into gold equities and see how that feels. "On Friday there were 1.28 million SPX puts traded which is 2 and 1/2 times the average daily volume - a contrarian timing signal."

I wouldn't worry about amoeba - his feet are so cold he could skate bare foot.

I've been doing some early buying this morning to soothe my wounds from the last three weeks: GT, MCP, CLF, MT, PCX, BHI, GDXJ, BBG. A tremendous short squeeze may kick in tomorrow - I'm just going to keep walkin the rails and throw more good money away - why not.

You should do well with your purchases over the long term. I especially like GDXJ, as the miners will eventually go through the roof. I bought AGQ last week because it has a higher beta. Also looking at snapping up some Lowes, which is down ~ 10% today. That's a big gap to fill, and could recover in a couple months. I wouldn't mind a 10% return in 3-4 months.

Searching for a little more happiness today and buying: BTU, OSG, SXI, KWR, KMT, BTE. I'm done for now and will reserve some dough for tomorrow. A big V or not - I believe we have seen the bottom and will not retest SPX 1292. If we rip tomorrow I'm back in an aggressive way looking for that parabolic acceleration.
