I took some short term profits today, backing up a little in my oceanic. This is allowing me to refill my flower pot and reload as prices come down. I'll be prepared to resume more buying soon - gosh these prices are sweet. It's all about accumulation to build income through dividends. Snort.

It was another day on the run staying ahead of margin calls - so I'm taking some short term profits that I don't really want but what else can I do. A bounce would certainly help - besides it's only money. So the flower pot is filling up even more which provides more buying power when the opportunity arrives - just have to play the game and remain patient. I'll be buying more BAC for sure.

At least BAC stayed above $5.00. Something happens to a stock at $5.00. Margin ineligibility?

It does look like I'll be buying again next week - locking in some nice yields while they last. I've got a large boat full of dividends due in December so a steady bull leg would be the best strategy - don't need to be in a hurry.

I have been slowing building positions in financials (JPM, WFC, C, HBAN and BAC) while they are so beaten down as I think their day will come...perhaps a couple years from now. It appears the safest bet is on JPM and WFC and the more riskier investment is definitely BAC hands down. BAC would probably deliver the biggest reward going forward if they can ever dig out from that mountain of bad loans/debt. With that being said, I'm fearing that BAC might not make it through this difficult time and end up splitting up or being bought out which "could" put our investment in BAC in serious jeopardy and i don't need another cap loss write-off :}. Why would you continue to invest in BAC? Your comments are certainly welcome. Thanks

I invest in BAC and all banks as a contrarian play - the same reason I like my energy stocks, especially coal. When the banks take off they will go like a rocket - you just have to be there when it happens.

Good article. Historically, the last day of the month, and the first few days of the month are the biggest gainers. We'll see what happens in another week or two...
