Birchtree's Account Talk

"The current uptrend should then be intermediate three, of Major 3, of Primary III. The mid-point, in wave structure, of the bull market. New all time highs again on the NYAD - we are experiencing a breadth thrust lift off." With the idea that Primary 3 is still in its early stages of unwinding to the upside as it relates to the NYSE group of stocks we will undoubtedly see many more multiple 3 digit Dow up days in a row in the future. Keeping in mind that the center point of three will have the most amount of participation by both breadth and volume related charts. I smell wealth. Within Elliott, the third of the third is known as the point of recognition, the epi center of an enormous advance.

.ul should be .uk in the first link. I added them to delicious below. Thanks for the encouragement. I am moving on up in the AutoTracker after getting discouraged and hanging out in the G fund for a while. Since we do not have a hard asset fund here I am using my Roth as my hard asset fund and it is doing well with SLV up over 50% since I bought it and EWL as a currency play until fall.

My oceanic stock count is currently I believe 326. If I were starting a Roth IRA I'd have to go with stuff no one likes but are paying good dividends. The website http://www.seekingalpha.com often offers good suggestions listed under articles. I like PFE, MRK, BMY, EBF, DLX, MSB, OLN, UDR to start.

Thanks for the info. I'm doing the "gentle" roll-overs into Traditional then "gentle" conversions into Roth.

Here is my painfully sad story for today with lesson attached. Back in February 2010 I sold my block of AMN (Ameron Int) for a nice profit. Today it is up $18 to $85 as a take over candidate. The lesson here is try not to sell anything in a bull market especially like we have now. Can you feel my pain? Snort.

I was a doubter when you said VIX to sub-15 and new year highs in the markets by the end of July. Well Birchtree, I stand corrected. Based on what the VXO and DJT have already done last week I think it's safe to say you were right. Now if only you could tell us if we'll get a good buying dip between then and now. Hehe.

Yesterday I had 15 dividends roll in for reinvestment - that's my DCA policy. Today I have only 4 dividends due so if the markets wants a accelerate I'll just accept my fate and pay a higher price. Sure did get some bargains though in June. I'm thinking of taking a few bites today on strength - nothing wrong in chasing strength because in two days we'll be even higher.

I was forced to increase my CSX position since they completed their 3 for 1 stock split. Here are today's flower power buys: CSX, BLT, GBX, OMN, OLN. I'll be glad when I reach the point once again when I can buy with impunity - c'mon Ferdinand gore a few tasty bears.

I had just finished High School in June 1965 and remember the song well - by November 1967 I was in Vietnam.

Elgallo, you just gave me a case of the chills. That song is so reminiscent of Vietnam for those that served.

I was wondering if you guys have watched Good Morning Vietnam or if it was too difficult to sit through it. If watched, what was your opinion of the film?
