Birchtree's Account Talk

JamesE,

I'll be glad to have the company. My immediate fear is that the 90-day cycle may be yet to arrive and if it does it will create problems for the small caps. There is change in the air and the I fund will find its' place with a very nice rebound - I'll be buying more of it probably on Friday or Monday.

Yeah, I'll have to agree... In this manipulation, seems like there's always something waiting around the corner. I'm getting ready to take a closer look at the I fund soon. Thanks

JamesE,

What do you suspose would happen to european stocks if the ECB does a turn around and pulls a Bernanke QE2 - I think I know and I'll catch some of it.

Birch,
I suspect you are largely 'upbeat'

and with that confidence and optimism is flying !!!

I think considering this particular moment in TIME you have every reason to be.

Ya see Birch, it's like Dad told us over and over as we were growing up:

"You've got those who live in FEAR - and thier FEAR is their worst enemy"

...'then you've got those who deal with Reality and Truth and FEAR can't stand against that'...

I think all that sunk in more with you cause you're the older brother who by nature of your BIRTH position are 'blessed' in that manner.

Well goodnight -- I'm heading out.

Tomorrow all I need to make is $22K - anything after that and I can rock-n-roll. I'm trying to contain my enthusiasm but this rally is getting more expensive everyday and will require more capital to pull out the same gains. That's why the time to buy is now - we may rally right into the first quarter of 2011 - but first comes the 90-day cycle and then we'll have the upside pressure of several cycles. I was also waiting on the four year cycle to nest and it buried me back in July.

the bull continues to stampede into the Santa Rally. Snort.

Birch, don't be such a candy (cane) a$$ and tell it like it is.

This is the Christ child Rally -- for Jesus is the Reason for the Season.

Ohhh my gosh -- I remember it like yesterday -- the moment Birch was 'born again' ....

Yeah --- it was kind of the Christmas Spirit ....

Jimmy Carter was spreading the message -- of love and peace -- reaching out to everyone and telling them 'Come home my loved ones' -- all of you are welcome -- come home where you belong -- :o

Birch was so 'moved' -- I mean that really hit him to the heart

and that's how it happened -- he was 'Born Again'

Well some of you will make like $100 dollars today ---

then some will make a lot more !!!!

Steady, I appreciate the kind thoughts.

It's now time to pick up a few eclectic treats for the season - bought: JAG, FNF, HVT, GLT, FIS, DSX. I do have a few more furniture stocks that I need to add to, but I may wait until tomorrow. I figure I'll be buying all month.

Rumor has it that someone may be snooping around my CMC (Commercial Metals) for a poyential buy out.

If this keeps up I'm going to need a larger pair of sticky pants with deeper pockets. Tomorrow may be my opportunity to buy myself into delirium. I'm debating about unloading the rest of my S fund on Friday or I may wait for Monday.

All we need to do is take out SPX 1225 and the next stop for the Grand Trunk is 1325-1350 before there will be any serious type of pullback. If the 90-day cycle doesn't nest next week then it has already passed the first week in November. I'm all in as usual at 40C/20S/40I.

Holy Mackeral Andy don't do it all today - save some gains for tomorrow. The higher we go the higher we are going to go - money is going to flow at record levels. A bull market is powered off of liquidity and there is ample in the bond market.

I'm not sure about that Birch --- all I knew was 11,000 was the MARK and things would take off from there.

If you're right -- and that is possible -- then the money pouring in will be a one time experience and the Markets will continue for years to come.

Anyway -- for NOW -- I don't feel like I'm in a Rocket ---

I feel like I have been dropped to the top of the highest mountain with the steepest and longest slopes -- and the best snow ever ---

-- that I'm more out in the open (instead of closed inside a space capsule) ---

-- that I'm in total control of something more exciting than sky diving ...

...that I'm in for the ride of my life and things just get better and better

You ever feel like that ??

Yes, everyday when I wake up and Mindylou is sleeping between my legs I know I'm still alive. Now I may have about $40K to spend tomorrow and I find that exciting knowing I can buy any stock I want. That's my reality presented by Ferdinand.

Birch, throw caution to the wind much? You've been talking about this 90-day cycle pullback for weeks now; how does two big up days change that in any way? We're due for one last SPX 1160-1184 pullback before Santa comes to town, so why not lay low until it's through? Our two IFTs are perfect for this kind of move, & the increased dip buying power that much sweeter.

The problem is we are in the early quadrants of the 2, 4, and 6 year cycles that are providing the upward pressure and may have balanced out the 90-day cycle for a mere 3.8% consolidation from the November peak. I'll be riding this wooley beast for years to come.

If I can even get a mildly positive day tomorrow I'll have my second $100K week in the last five weeks - this is my oceanic acount. Still on the hunt for the $2M kill.

I have an outside account that is a margin account called the oceanic because it has 300 or so stocks in it. Inside the oceanic I have built a sacrificial lamb chop account that I can use if I'm forced to cover a margin call in a down market. My tugboat is my TSP because it is smaller than my oceanic Birch 300 fund.
