Birchtree's Account Talk

Do any of you know why the TSP prices for April 2nd were left of the end of day prices on the TSP site?

Thanks,

Steve

The world is full of unexplained mysteries - only the Shadow knows for sure.
:D:D Ahh Birch, those were the good ole days ;)

Kind of reminds me of visiting the neighbor up the street -- when we use to listen to Lady and her father playing guitars and singing 'Tiny Bubbles' :)

Check out these statistics. Last week my oceanic account took in $126K in essentially four days - now in two days this week I've already given back $110K. It won't be long before I start pushing around $100K days - now that would be progress. I'll be back to buying in May reaching for my goal of 1000 buys before June 26th. Currently at 868 individual buys all the way up. The more you have in the bigger the win and then on days like yesterday the bigger the pain level you have to absorb. I'm with JTH - staying long and strong.

Their crappy system and poor timing with the 1200 deadline caused FTRIB to suffer a one-day delay on their idea of an April Fool's joke? :cheesy:

It would appear the towel has been tossed and tsptalk Tom has caught the caboose of this bull train. It would be interesting to me to know how heavy he is invested in the S fund - I would regard that as a contrarian perspective. I'm sure he is deep but that is only speculation on my part. I'll watch the tracker movement for a clue. Anyway, welcome aboard the train. Smaller stocks have already appreciated about 112% since March '09.

Now Birch, let's all remember the golden rule. He who has all the gold makes the rules, Or is that he that makes all the rules makes the gold?:embarrest: Look at that DOW!

I think we are potentially looking at more than a short covering rally from Tuesday - we could take all that loss back before the close. The bullish stampede will start to kick in after 1400 hours and force the dip buyers to step up. Mindylou is working on my next buy list which I'll probably initiate on Monday. I'm ignoring my greed factor today while I try to make back my $96K hit on Tuesday. The targets are falling nicely and I don't mind paying more.

It would appear now that tsptalk Tom has had a second thought and canceled his caboose move into the market. Well shucks. I'm left without words on this strategy.

Well he, and anyone else that is waiting for a 'correction' are going to be hugely disappointed.

Markets are shaping up -- big time

It's one thing to miss the upswing from 3/09 to now....

..but now there's no excuse

Anyway -- off to lunch

If you listen closely, you can actually hear people kicking themselves for bailing on this market. It absolutely refuses to die. Kinda like those giant ants you stepped on and ground into the dirt when you were a kid. Only to watch in amazement when dug out and kept on truckin'!

Yo Birchtree, Lend me one of those IFT's you never use brother  ......My plan worked out beautifully, until I noticed I was out of IFT's for the month!!:cheesy: Sling shot approach doesn't work to well if all you have is the rock and no slingshot!!!
Boy I wish I would have had another IFT Tuesday!! :(
GL Everyone!

Blindman

No doubt BT. I have recouped most of Mon Tues. losses. If we do get a larger correction I expect it to come on heels of another stupid news story, can u say on a Friday at the end of a weekly news cycle?? Predict the next bit of gloom & act on it. who needs charts and techincals.:toung::toung:
