Birchtree's Account Talk

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Tom,

I'm not familiar with that crout term - can you kindly clarify. I'm waiting on Dow up to 9800 and I'm ready to bowl again. I truly need a three hundred point game.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Thanx to my Tonkinese investment adviser for compiling the new buy list. If we take the Dow up 125 points I'm back in to buy more - no fear here. Snort.

I could care less if it's Smart Money or Dumb Money

Consider the TIME we are in :D:D

1 Year prior was the BIG EVENT that crashed the MARKETS...

and the PAIN was felt throughout the world ....

Today - Fed Chief (Ben) says 'The Recession is over'
............Markets consistently going up since 3/9
............Judge says 'No Way' f**ers -- YOU ARE GOING TO PAY
............Many good pieces already in play

Considering the 'current climate' - this wave is likely Gigantic and is going to rise a lot further and faster than the previous waves

Re: Birchtree's account talk

The smart money sentiment is around 70% negative - this is proof that big money does not mean smart money. Their performance targets will force them to buy and that could start today. We are about to witness one of the largest short squeezes in history - bring on the pain. We happen to be in the greatest bull market of the decade and I'm fully loaded and eating margin. The VIX however is showing me some slack right now by going slightly positive - a chance for the hoofhearted to catch a little breath.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Yes, I want to see bear blood flowing in the streets. We are not in a bear market rally as some believe so we need pain to offer the universal truth that the secular bull lives. Well it looks like the market is cooling so I may have to wait until tomorrow to finish my buying - I'm patient.

... they july 15, 16, 17th time frame is very similar to the 3 day cylce we're in now... OEX coinciding with a breakout of a bullish pattern. Lloyd Blankfein is going to make reeeeedonkulous amounts of cash this week killing the shorts.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Any fearless folks care to predict the S&P 500 by the close on Friday. I say 1100. This is a classic rally where the majority are missing the boat - and when the decision is made to get me in at any price my account will really take off. The truck is loaded. I've got my $100K for the week - now all I have to do is hold on. Now I've got to work my way up that tracker and take out a few loafers.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

"The sell off that occurred in 2008 and into 2009 was truly a generational decline, not only in terms of its magnitude but also its ferocity. The decline in the markets was so quick and dramatic that the S&P 500 was 39.6% below its declining 200 day moving average at the November 2008 lows, and 36.1% below at the March 9th lows. The 2008/2009 decline was the second example of the S&P 500 being more than 35% below its 200 day MA in 100 years, with the other example being during the Great Depression."

I mention this post because that was when I stepped forward and made 432 individual purchases dumping more than several hundred thousand dollars down the well. Because I was prescient enough and brave enough to do this strategy is part of the reason I made $50K in today's market. Buy'em when they are being thrown down the stairs and out the door.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Since I am a believer in the mega trend secular bull market it's good to remember that during a secular bull market, the cyclical or shorter, bull markets within them gained 110% on average and lasted at least three years and longer. The economy is healthier than widely believed and exports will provide a bigger boost than in the past. If the market is poised for a multiyear run, investors should be more aggressive about diving into stocks. And I'll continue to do my best - perhaps buying more stock today. I've now completed 502 individual purchases since 6/26/09 with many, many more to go - there is just so much work to do. Watch out for the upcoming head fakes. Bull markets do not like company, the market will do everything it can to make the majority gunshy and keep the bears from recognizing the prevailing trend. The A/D line is not diverting, and it's very rare the price will top without A/D divergence.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Always an eye on the headfakes. With 2 IFT's they've sidelined better investors than me on more than one occasion. But if you're a market timer (if your any good add it) you can capitalize on those as well.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

All I hear from most people is pessimism towards the market. People keeps saying that they're staying in G. That's why I'm hanging out in the S Fund.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Could be a runaway today - I better get busy and add to my collection. Steady says we could get a 300 point banger. Let's just catapult right up into Dow 10,000.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Anyone see a pessimist, I've lost mine and can't find them. :D
Got to be honest with you fabijo, they are actually hard to find lately, especially this week. (Little bandwagon jumpers and rarely on BT thread)
There are still a few naysayers however.

Good luck with the S

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Mindylou has informed me that she has gotten a signal - there it was scrawled in her litter box the three letters BUY.

Find a SYSTEM that works and stick with it !!!

All I hear from most people is pessimism towards the market. People keeps saying that they're staying in G. That's why I'm hanging out in the S Fund.

That's why GA is the biggest growing Organization and has outgrown AA.

S Fund far exceeded in 2 days what G Fund has done the whole year

Eventually all those in G Fund will get tired of eggs in their face :o:p

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Just completed a few more nibbles: BLT, BGG, CBG, CBL, CR, GRA, GDI, AA. This morning I was looking at $310K worth of buying power after yesterday's move. I'll just use a little of it - no rush here on a daily basis - just keep plugging away at building a strong foundation.
